Seoul - Day 7

This day's album has many repeated photos. Usually I try to pick the best and upload, but unfortunately, as I have repeatedly mentioned, I don't have much time, so apologies if anyone decides to look through the album.

On the other hand, there aren't much photos to see in the first place, because on this day, we visited two of Korea's museums, namely their National Museum and their War Memorial, and I did not take photos of the exhibits inside the museums.

First up, their National Museum.

It was HUGE. Way bigger than our Singapore's National Museum. Possibly because their history goes back to the ancient times, and so needed more space to showcase everything.

Of the three floors, we only had time to finish the first floor before we had to go. The first floor was the most important anyway, showcasing ancient Korea. The second and third floors were more of art pieces from Korea and various parts of Asia which we had to skip.

After lunch we went to the Korean War Memorial, which was a museum rather than just a memorial.


The War Memorial was just as magnificent.

The War Memorial had an outdoor exhibition area, showcasing various equipment used during the Korean War.

This time round we managed to finish looking at most of the exhibits in the War Memorial. By the time we came out the Sun had already set and snow has accumulated on the ground.

Ended the day with Korean BBQ buffet for dinner.
