An advice from a friend was that skiing should be at least two days long, one day for learning and one day for the actual skiing. However, since time was not quite on our side, and that one day simple ski packages were available for a low cost, we decided to go for it.
Arrival at the Jisan Ski Resort! We were at this ski shop to pick up our ski clothes; the ski resort was across the road in the distance.
At the ski resort!
A rare photo of me with my ski gear haha.
Took this shot at the most gentle slope, where we first learnt how to ski.
What was behind us. Steeper slopes basically. Even then, this entire slope was for amateurs like us.
The lifts brought people up to the real slopes for the professionals.
This was taken when we were taking a rest at the cafe by the side. At the far end one can see the professional slopes. They looked so steep they sent shivers down my spine.
The one day ski tour was really more of a half day thing, because the resort was quite far from Seoul, and by afternoon we had to leave already. For my friends, they picked up the skill of skiing with relative ease, while for me, skiing is not my thing. Haha.
The ski shop we rent our clothes from.
