STUPID EXAM RESULTS...
As i haf expected i did rather badly for my midyr...though had a few surprises...
Surprises(as in i did better than i expect): Emaths, Combined Humans, Physics, Eng..
Shocks(as in i did worse than i expect): Bio, Amaths, Chi
Expected(to score low marks):Chem

I shall not go into the details...

I predict my l1r5 for mid yr to be 10...after including all the common tests...luckily my common tests were not too bad..can help pull up abit...hmm...
Ok la...at least i didnt drop too much..anyway mid yr is just a exam...not counted in anyting....the real test comes when i take prelims and o's...i just gonna try harder...

What's done is done...so dun tink too much abt it..

Anyway nxt wk's our post exam activities...got talks by tj and vj..and going to tj for visit...then oso got walkathon...
Weekend's coming...for me it should be all play..haha...and going out to buy bday presents...hmm....
Haiz..finish blogging liaoz oso dunno wat to do....the news just say many youngsters are getting myopia becos they stare too mush at computer screens..so after this i tink i shall not continue my games...do wat?i oso dunno.......

Todae marking day so no need go to sch..haha..so stayed at home...i literally wasted the whole day off...
Wake up, read newsppers, play computer games, watch tv, eat, slp..tt's basically wat i did the entire day..haha..
Mainly played Colin Mcrae Rally 2...i long time nvr play then now suck at racing cars..so spent a long time perfecting my skills..haha.....
Now as i type this out, i oso realise tt its too wasteful..hmm..
Maybe one useful thing i did was to watch the news..hahaha...
Anyway tml gotta go back to sch...giving me the prefect reason y i should jump out from the window now...COS I'M GETTING BACK MY PAPERS!!

The Mid-yr exams are finallyyyyyyyy over.....i haf survived through 2 weeks of torture and mental endurance...
Haiz..didnt do vv well for the exams...emaths and amaths i made all kinds of stupid mistakes and i haf left whole questions blank...chem and physics oso alot dunno(how the hell do u separate glass from aluminium???)..chi zao ju oso can die...
Nvm la...learn from my mistakes now so i wun make the same mistakes again..haha...
Todae was the last paper...physics paper1...after this 1 hr paper i went to my fren's hse play soccer for a while, then go home eat and change b4 meeting my frens at katong for a 'visual and finger enhancing course'(actually its just lan gaming)..haha...haiz..but e lan shops dampened our moods cos 2 of my frens not yet 16 so they dun allow them to play..in the end got split up..haiz...tot this was going to be the biggest lan session(10 pple),in the end only 6 played...
Played Battlefield Vietnam...IT ROX~~~ The graphics really rox lor...its a trophical setting and the grass really look like grass...but there are too much grass and the computer bots always hide in the bushes and snipe us...
But overall, the game is really vv nice..haiz..too bad my com too slow for the game...
So now here blogging...after tt i guess i'm going to slp..really exhausted..

Blogging here for the last time for now...y?cos my mid-yr exams are here....
Yup...exams r coming...first paper starts on the 10th, all the way until the following wed...
Had my Eng and HCL paper 1(compo, situational writing) yesterday...Quite okay for both...
But for both subjs i chose topics which no other pple in my class did..haha...eng compo i did the one where i had to write an open letter to Prime Minister of Singapore..hahaha..Then Hcl i chose si han while many others chose gong han...although gong han really takes shorter time but i find si han easier to write...
Hcl compo i chose to write on whether internet worsens people-people relationships, while many others chose to write on the bao zang bao dao..hmm..
Anyway after tt went out to eat b4 going home...then slept through the afternoon...at nite did tuition hw, cos got tuition todae...then its nth much till now...
The past 2 wks had been quite eventful...2 worksite accidents took several lives, leaving many others injured....Haiz...Luckily we have a good civil defence force which is effective, preventing the accidents from worsening further..i salute them!
But vv sad for the hero whose body was nvr found...the rescuers had to stop their work becos any further search will put their lives in danger...haiz...
K la...cant stay for too long liaoz...see ya again after my exams!Wish me luck... =D

Wow....wat an eventful week....
Firstly it was the micromouse competition...we got fourth...haiz....but we arent really happy...we could haf gotten better results...we just did not had the luck..
Secondly it was the hot weather....its so hot...one can get roasted..then these few days suddenly rain..funny weather....at nite it gets so hot tt i cant sleep...
Becos of the hot weather all the mosquitoes came..was bitten so many times lor..haix...
Thirdly there was the Enthuse week...a week where we play alot of games to promote eng...quite fun...Our sch even held AHS Idol..haha..but i didnt really watch becos i was in class during 1st recess...the time when it was held..
This week one of the worst disasters happened in singapore....nicoll highway collasped...this nicoll highway was sitting on reclaimed land, and they were building a mrt tunnel below it...becos the wall could not support the soil, one part caved in...
Surprisingly no vehicle was passing by at the instance it collasped..which is a relief becos it kept casualty rate low...and luckily many workers were having teabreak at tt time so not many pple at the site..
But still...3 died..haix..trapped under all the metal stuff..
And now the entire nicoll highway is closed..pple living in the east cant go into the city though this way..so now the other roads into the city are getting congested..
I tink perhaps singapore engineers are getting abit too over confident..maybe they tink they haf done so many tunnels b4 so they tot this wun be a prob...
But perhaps they haf overlooked the fact tt tt is reclaimed land and there is the sea just nearby..the soil is too soft liaoz.
Hope this will be the last incident tt happens...
One terrorist organisation sent a letter to the south korea embassy saying tt they are going to launch an attack on 8 countries...singapore's on the list!
I haf trust in singapore's security agencies but i tink its beeter to be careful..
But now dunno issit true or not..cos the south koreans say they nvr heard of such a terrorist organisation b4..hmm...

Todae went for micromouse(again)..do from morning right till evening...at first i tot do until noon, cos the company closes at 1, but becos competition is near so they open it till vv late..so we stayed until 5++..haha...
Our mouse is performing vv well...if nth goes wrong we should haf a place in the finals?haha....lets hope so...
The sec3s only started preparing todae...but wif the help of gibson they advance quite fast too...by the end of the day they had some remarkable runs too...
Becos todae was sat, many pple turn up too...so made the place crowded and stuffy...got victoria, springfield, woodlands ring, junyuan and others which i dun recognise..Actually most of them are all in home clothes, but the reason i can recognise them becos many of them took part in the robogp competition back in feb..so all quite familiar looking..
Many of their mice ran vv well too...hmm...but as long as they not in same division as well we are quite safe..haha...
But there was this guy(dunno wat sch)..he likes to suan us...yesterday we took the same lift as him, then he asked:Which division are u in? we replied division3, then he said:hmm, vv gd...
-.-''' Hello?Wat's so gd being in the lowest division?(we got relegated becos we nvr won last yr)..he so sarca...
Then todae he saw our mouse running(it was VERY fast) then he said:aiyah division3 no need so fast la...
WE really feel like beating him up...
Actually his mouse oso quite fast la, but tt doesnt mean he can anyhow suan pple right?grr...

So all these ends the day...after this blogging i going to do some hw..haiz...
Now i find all these robotics so fun..maybe i will continue all these when i go to jc/poly/ite..hmm...

Todae is an unforgetable day..really unforgetable..wat happened?
Well..One of the worst things tt could happen to any person on earth almost happened to us todae...
As usual, we went to AI to do the micromouse..we took mrt to aljurned, then take bus, alight at siemens there, then we walked towards the AI company..
While walking we realised.......we left something on the bus...


Not just anything...but its a micromouse...


Not just a micromouse, but its a $1000 micromouse..


All hell broke loose as we desperately tried all kinds of ways to get back tt thing...we had to get it back, or u can forget abt seeing us in sch anymore....


Gib went back to the bus depot to see if he can get any help there, i crossed the road to the other side to wait for the bus(it was a loop service), and yufeng went after the bus...
In the end, yf managed to catch up wif the bus and luckily, one kind soul passed it to the bus driver...
PHEW~
Actually while i was waiting for the bus to loop back i was thinking:wat if a kan cheong person sees it and tot it was a bomb, and keeps up a huge fuss?Hey i'm not joking, esp when the micromouse looks like one..can see the circuit boards, LEDs and wires all over....Luckily none of this happened...or we will be in the headlines tml..(Todae, the mrt signboards just started running the words: If u see any suspicous articles, pls tell the smrt staff or call 999..wow..)
Anyway thks to the kind soul who passed it to the bus driver....its pple like this tt makes the world goes round...
So after this incident we continued to do our micromouse....the boss of AI, a mr yong, actually gave us some tips on how to improve our performance...he so pro lor..he see our mouse's movements n he noes our speed profile liaoz...CoOl MaN..
He oso not bossy...he was the one who leaves last, closing the doors...nvr bai jia zi one...
So reached home at 8 lor...tml no sch, but got tuition in the afternoon...had to turn down a lan game offer...haiz...
Nxt wk got a whole string of tests....mon chem, tues amaths, thurs ss...and wed is my big day...argh.....

Haiz...now everyday is micromouse...everyday go to this same ulu place in the middle of an industrial estate where even going there is so ma fan...must take mrt, then walk to bus stop take bus, then walk again..
Reached there liaoz will eat roti prata b4 going up...see the same old pple there...Now we even made frens wif ppkle from other schs haha....
Do all the way until 6++, then reached home at 7++, eat bathed read newsppers, b4 i can start any hw i will fall aslp on the bed..all the way until 1++ then wake up to do a little bit of hw..haiz...
No choice..sch no money, cant get us a gd maze board...so gotta go tt place lor...
Except for todae, i nvr sleep...maybe after this?
Now i really think taxi driving is the job for me....i want to do bio, but my bio not gd, i want to do computer, but my computer oso not gd...maybe taxi driving is the best for me..hmm...

One week's over...
This week is rather ordinary...nth big happened...
Wed was the 2.4km actual run...last three yrs we haf been running at east coast and we were cheated....east coast is shorter...so now we go bedok stadium run actual distance...previous sessions had me clocking 12 mins plus...on wed the actual run i run like maniac to clock a 11.48....quite a gd time for me...at least i got a C....
Fri last 2 periods my class was supposed to haf the ne quiz...to play a game..but the tcher nvr came(dunno how many times liaoz), so in the end nvr do the ne quiz...as my fren says, we are almost forgetting wat is the meaning of cme...haha....
Then as usual, cca...haiz...cca is so boring nowadays..haiz...no choice..they got a lousy leader..Cant wait for handover....
After cca saw the ice cream man outside sch again....he seems to noe our sch timing liaoz....everyday after will see him outside sch one...maybe he got a son or grandson who studies there...haha..his ice cream still vv nice....
Then todae had bio test...it wasnt too difficult...some of the qns were even repeated...asked the same things...but i still made quite a few mistakes...
The micromouse competition's coming....we the sec4 team more or less are prepared liaoz...after last 2 weeks almost everyday go AI or stay in sch to prepare...so tired and go home so late....then my mother will scold "why so early come home?still early mah, do summore la"..haiz...
Everytime we go AI we will eat roti prata at a coffee shop nearby b4 going there...we go there so often, now the AI pple noe us liaoz....i tink even the roti prata man oso noes us le..haha..
But there's sumting strange abt our micromouse...it keeps crashing into the wall...dunno why leh...other schs' micromice can detect walls a distance away..ours always touches the walls....the AI pple look so many times still cant find the prob..but nvm la...can win can liaoz..haha..
Hey man...Singapore really ROX~ i watched them playing against japan...first half watch them play i was tinking, singapore no hope liaoz..u can see the japanese keep attacking and attacking...singapore almost cant hold them liaoz...but second half singapore suddenly so hiong, keeps attacking...Last few mins when noor ali came in i tot singapore got hope liaoz...but haiz...nvm..in the end although we lost but it was still a gd match...i tink credit goes to indra sandan, S. subramani and the goalkeeper hassan sunny(all the names dunnoe spell correctly or not)...but tan kim leng abit rough...he always gifs tt bu shuang face...
So now after blogging i gotta finish my hw so i can dedicate tml to chi test..haiz...so scared...later i get class lowest again...

TOdae quite a relaxed day(it shouldnt be)
Mornign wake up at usual time to go sch for eng test...a compre on tarantulas..after reading it i realised tt i had misconceptions abt tarantulas..just like those the author memtioned in the compre...but its hard to believe huh??such a big creature so hariy so scary looking turns out to be a timid harmless guy...haha...
After the test went to library to return a bk which was long overdue..then saw the weather nice, so walked home..haha...At home ate some stuff and read the newsppers, then it was sleepppppppppppppppppp all the way to noon..where my mum woke me up becos she wants me to go down buy medicine for my aunt...just one dollar panadols..took it to her hse, then returned home...slept again al the way to late afternoon...haha..
Caught a H-U-G-E housefly just now...it was flying all around my room..i got irritated so i grabbed a bottle, then while it was resting i sent it tnto my bottle..so it was flying all around the bottle...it shits alot too...so much shit in the bottle..haha...
We are supposed to do a short writeup on any event tt happened in singapore on our birthdate..is part of a national day thingy...i found out tt hotel new world collasped on my bdate in 1986...haha..i got sumting to write liaoz..
Ok...it's not a thing to be happy abt..
Taiwan elections really rox..Now a-bian become president all those who support lian zhan go to the streets and protest...hmm...i find the taiwanese pple REALLY patriotic abt their country..they really love their country..unlike singaporeans who all heck care one...they dun mind going to the streets protesting, going against the law or bear wif the rain just to get the person they support to become president..
Haiz...feel vv sad abt tt shichi guy who got struck by lightning....dunno y he can be struck...the stadium had devices tt protects all those in the field, and there wasnt any thunderstorm tt day...but a single bolt came and it struck him squarely on the head..haiz...he so poor lor...parents had to pay alot just to get him to come to singapore to play soccer(esp when singapore isnt vv gd at soccer)..then just played one yr and died liaoz...19 yrs old only leh...this makes me think whether fate and destiny really exist..i mean..its just a bolt of lightning and it struck him(just him and only him..y not any other person standing near him?) while he is at a place supposedly impossible for lightning to struck...
Maybe one day when my day is up, this lightning blot will appear from nowhere and strike me..or a car mysterious appears from nowhere and runs me down..hmm....

Another week has passed...haiz....
Passed my physics test by half-a-mark..haiz..all the horrible careless calculation mistakes cost me so many marks...horrible test..
Yesterday got two tests..chem common test and amaths class test...chem a bit not vv gd...amaths think still alright...haiz..hope so..
The biggest thing this wk was tt i failed my chi test..haiz...lowest in class summore..so got scolded by the tcher...as usual la...but busy wif cca ma..no choice..esp now wif the micromouse competition coming up..
The new micromouse rox!After using mkit700(wide base) for these few yrs...then see it crash out due to too many consecutive turnings...now the new mkit900(slim base) just do a straight diagonal and cross all the consecutive turns in a breezeeeee....
Although we are in division 3 of the compeititon(which is the lowest, cos we did not get in the finals in the last 2 yrs), so the maze tt we are getting is the simplest...but we set up a complex maze(wif 10++ consecutive turns) in the room for it to run...haha...as my fren says, we 'abused' the micromouse..haha...
Todae cca....kept testing the micromouse until it went haywire becos of low batt...so no choice but to call it a day..
Think nth else happened for the rest of the wk...cant recall anyting anyway...
Now here blogging...tml got eng test..must go sch so early in the morning...haiz.......

Todae was yet another day...
Morning went sch for cca meeting..more crap was discussed than important stuff...haha..in the end i guess we still got our things right...hmm...on the way home a few of us came up wif some interesting ideas...i will seriously consider it..haha..
Went home, watched tv slept woke up then bathed....after tt went to this grassroots club at ang mo kio...i got this bursary award from my father's company and went there to receive it....$250..haha..but nth to be happy abt..becos i haf to use it to pay part of my olevels fees..haiz..
Met my fren there...there were 100 over pple getting the bursary award..5(including me) of ahs..So after the guest of honour spoke they gif the awards......in between there was even a performance by my father's company's harmonica band...actually all taxi drivers la...but they played vv well..played xiao wei, top of the world and a chi oldies song..After tt got group photography...then got buffet..the food was nice..got fried rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, egg etc....ate really full......
So now reached home le rushed to the com..haha...
My father got his new taxi todae..a huge 3000cc toyota crown...had a ride when my father took me to the grassroots club....his taxi was so new tt there is the smell of leather(the seats) and the air-con was soo cold...the taxi oso vv quiet and runs rather smoothly...it rox =)
Before going home from the grassroots club i played around wif the taxi..haha..like the seats(inclining and declining it) the air-con the lights..hahaha...so fun...think i already noe how to drive it liaoz =p
Oso rather surprised tt the new taxi comes wif parking sensors...so when my father is reversing it makes all kinds of funny sounds..haha...
It oso has central locking system...one press or one turn from the driver side and all the doors are locked..
Ok...enough of the taxi...haha
When i came home i immediately heard tt one of the 3 cute guys who escaped to pulau tekong had been caught..earlier on my brother had called back and he said tt his fren had spotted someone near his workplace(some army admin blk)
Hmm..this guy rather clever huh?Wearing all black then hide in the forest..no wonder 700 pple need 2 days to find him..haha...interesting...but the other 2 even better, now still cant find them..hahahaha...
Haiz tml still gotta go out....to do eng assignment..haiz.....so tired...dunnoe if can finish studying for chi test or not..

LATEST NEWS: my cca tcher sent in the java form too late...now no vacancy, no need to go. And the tcher say:its a blessing in disguise. Todae's a R-E-A-L-L-Y INTERESTING day...haha...we haf 3 of our neighbours who escaped to singapore after robbing a poor guy in malaysia...these 3 guys escaped to the best place they can ever go to in singapore...pulau tekong!! haha...go to a military base...soo stupid..now they can hide, but they cant run..we haf 700 pple looking for the three of them..the 3 of them only armed wif pistol and air gun...we haf our saf pple armed wif m16s..hahaha..
Hmm...so to catch those guys our police and saf sent altogether 700 men to look for them...wat a big manhunt..i guess its becos 1stly they are armed, and 2ndly tt they ran into a military base..where they store all the weapons..
But come to tink of it...3 guys escaping into a military base, and 700 pple looking for 3 guys, which 1 sounds more stupid?hahahaha..
Haiz...but those NSmen on pulau tekong vv gd leh...just becos those 3 are armed the saf suspended all activities to protect our NSmen..so now they can slack in their barracks...so gd.....
Haha..recent days singapore no big news...so now come this big and interesting news..i got all excited..haha..
Anyway back to reality...todae went to sch to do noticeboard...only 3 turned up...hmm..we completed one board..the other board let all those who nvr come todae to do it on mon..
After tt went to challenger to look at games(again)..really haf the urge of buying a couple of them...but if i buy then i will surely neglect my studies..haiz...but then again..i really like those games vv much..haiz....headache headache..

Lately the Education ministry has came up wif alot of changes huh??first uni admission and the SAT and mother tongue thing, then came secondary schs admission of talented pple and higher mother tongue and chi b...now they allow pri schs to set their own streaming exams(sumting like tt) and combine em1 and em2...tts a gd thing for our poor kids..haha...they should haf a memorable childhood..haha..
So these are the news for todae..(still getting amused over those 3 guys..haha)
Tml..haiz..still gotta go sch..for cca..haiz..then tml nite still got sumting on..now getting abit worried..dunnoe if can finish my hw not..then sch open liaoz still got chem and chi tests..but if i;m not srong my java course starts on sat...then dunnoe how to squeeze out time to study..argh..

Todae main event was lan gaming..haha..
Met my frens at bedok mrt station...then took bus to katong a lan shop there...we were abit late but luckily(surprisingly) not many pple..they haf the best computers at a reasonable prices...tamp lan shops are expensive and their computers are slow..
Played battlefield 1942...tried to fly aircraft but keeps crashing...then we were oso shooting at each other...haha...totally forgetting to complete the objectives..but the game rox..~
After battlefield they went on to play gunbound(ya i noe u asking:gunbound in a lan shop?)..i dun play gunbound so played need for speed underground and need for speed hot pursuit 2(satisfying my thrist for racing games)...man they simply rox..its a pity my com cant run them..haiz..
After lan we went to the food court to eat...chicken choP~ it was value for money...cos quite a large serving..
After that went home...hafway it rained madly..
Now at home...after blogging maybe go rest a while...~
Hmm..i'm sort of really getting interested in cars....now i haf this crazy idea of becoming a car racer or car mechanic..haha...

Todae was rather busy....
First went to body worlds at expo wif my fren..its ending soon so tot tt i should pay a visit..
Met my fren at expo mrt at 11, as the mrt sta is linked to hall 6 and the exhibition is at hall 1 we had to walk the entire length of expo...the air con so cold summore..
The exhibition itself rox..it showed almost every single part of the body..and detailedly explaining them...There was oso a small chamber dedicated to foetus..they showed foetus wif various deformations and oso how a foetus looks like at different stages in the mother's womb..the deformed babies..haiz..so ke lian..
Oso showed many different kinds of cancer, showing the tumours in different parts of the body..They even got a coal miner's lungs...which had turned black after long term inhalation of coal dust..and it was really really black...
Interesting exhibition...there's so much abt the human body tt i think i can throw my bio notes away..haha...the exhibition had so many things tt we finished looking only at abt 2.30..but the $12 was well-spent..haha..
But if u ask me, although the bodies are real, they looked a bit fake after the plastilation process...looked just like ordinary models..maybe nxt time they should really come wif real bodies..hmm..
And i tink they should provide notes..no notes, then see liaoz oso no use...their catalogue is sold at $35, which is so ex...
And although they show human bodies in diff positions, such as a goal keeper saving a ball, a swordsman, a javalin thrower etc..the same things are shown inside..stomach heart lungs kidneys etc..maybe they can cut down on them?
After tt we went to challenger tampines to look at games..looking at all the games make me want to buy...but couldnt...first no money, second i dun haf the hardware to run them..haiz...
Bought chicken rice b4 going home...hmm seems like the chicken flu has died down..no news recently..hope it stays this way...
Then it was sleep and eat and tv..until now..where after this gotta start some hols hw..
My father's taxi is scrapped...haha..after 7 yrs..i din noe 7 yrs had just passed like tt..wow..i still rmb the day when my father got tt taxi...yi zuan yan this taxi gone liaoz..
So now my father's out of work for three days..whereby tt he will get the toyota crown...its the big 3000cc cab...no more 2000cc toyota corona becos commuters dun like small cabs..so compaines all going for new cabs..haha..actually not a vv gd thing..becos the rental rates goes up..
Gosh i tink i'm really addicted to racing games..this morning i woke up at 7.30, i see no one at home i immediately went to the com..playing need for speed..haha..something's wrong wif me..
Tml's going out again..to play..haha...

These two days...yesterday was a busy one..todae was rather relaxed..
Yesterday went to do cip....flag day for the handicapped welfare association..reached pasir ris mrt at abt 1, then after getting the donation box we this bunch of pple went to city hall...then we split up...cindy and i went to the underpass near esplanade...it looks deserted, but actually was quite crowded..i just stood there for the rest of the time....
Now i realised tt not everyone avoids pple who ask for donations...many of them actually stopped to donate when i ask them to...basically i asked everyone who pass by me...except a few who gave me the get-lost look..seeing their faces kills my mood..
Wat surprised me was tt many of the tourists whom i approached did not donate..i tot they were the ones who would contribute...hmm..
Oso got quite a few..i asked them to donate they declined, after later turned back to donate..
Got one guy at first dunwan to donate, but later he came back and donated, saying tt he pity me standing for so long...
Oso got their kids who asked their fathers/mothers/ to donate so they can get the stickers..haha..
The largest amount came from my fren's fren...$2~
While standing there to donate there were many breakdancers and stunt bikers trying out their tricks at the underpass..esp one stunt biker who was topless..he completed most of the stunts he did..many passer-bys oso stopped and watched them..in fact several of them pretended to be looking at them and ignored me..haiz..
Cindy rox...although she was at the same underpass as me most of the pple she approached donated...while for me most didnt want to...haiz...maybe girls r better at asking for donations..haha...
It was abt 4.30pm when we went back to base...got a bottle of newater after i returned the can..
Then went to challenger and then century sq..first to look for games then for movies..
Tt ended the day..
Todae early morning again went to tamp stadium to run...wasnt in top form todae...clocked one min slower than my previous time..haiz..after finished running stayed at the stadium to rest while watching tampines rovers players trained...
Afternoon had a H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E tuition session...my maths questions do whole pages then come out wrong...had to cancel the pages then redo...
After tuition continued wif need for speed porsche unleashed...frustrating but fun stages...haha...at the end of this yr when i buy my new com i will buy a steering wheel as well...i'm moving into racing games now..haha...
This week although is holidays but i'm rather packed..tml tues and fri already confirmed going out, then must go out yet another day to do eng assignment..then oso got my private project which i'm starting soon, and many other funny things tt i gotta do...haiz....
Oso gotta start saving now...last term i had spent quite alot on food...nxt term i haf quite a number of things to buy...haiz..
Hope appears just when u want to gif up, but disappears when u try to grab hold of tt hope.

Oh finally...its the end of term 1....haiz..it had been a long and tedious term..all my tests were crap...
Got back my termly result slip...had an l1r5 of 8..which was ok..but had an c5 for chem..cos i failed the one and only chem common test..i was lucky my class test pulled me up the passing mark..And there was chi..all my tests had 60++, but becos i got full marks for yue du(which shouldnt be considered as a test), it dragged me up to 75..
Guess i must work hard nxt term...

After sch todae a few of us went to geoffrey's hse to play..his hse is...a ps2 connected to a projection tv, along wif dvd+rw player and a LOT of discs...then he has 2 desktop computers, a laptop and an ibook...haiz...rich pple....
Played com and soccer down his hse..all the way until 5++..
There was his dog too...keeps barking and barking..
Guess tt's all that happened this week...cant recall anyting else...
This week was a week of rain...it just rained and rained..wif more rain expected over the nxt few days...all these rain caused floodings all over singapore..said tt it was caused when it rained just as there was high tides..there were floodings just in front of my hse too..
But i like the rains..cos it makes the weather cool..
Just realised tt games haf improved alot over the yrs...realised this after playing need for speed 2(1997) which i borrowed from geoff todae..comparing the gameplay, graphics..everyting wif need for speed porsche unleased(2000,borrowed from another fren) and need for speed underground(2003,latest, played it at geoff's hse), u can really see the difference...
Added 'car dealer' into my 'ambitions' corner...think i am influenced by all the car racing games which i played lately..

Todae went Parliamant House for tour...learnt more abt the Parliamant and how it functions..an interesting journey i had...learnt alot..
Saw several MPs and ministers as well...like DPM Lee, Minister for Home Affairs, Education etc..oso saw my MP Sin Boon Ann...
On the bus my class went laming again...two of them linked up their phones to play golf..scream here scream there..we oso waved at pple who drove past us..haha...
The march hols are coming...eagerly looking forward to it..=D

Yet another week flew by...
This means tt i'm 1 week nearer to the olevels...received the timetable this wk...first paper starts on 1st of nov and the last, 19th..this leaves wif me wif slightly less than 8 mths to study...haiz..But good thing is the first paper is hcl..so got ample time for me to prepare..
This wk got back eng chi ss amaths emaths tests...all quite ok except eng...only got a passing mark..
Mon was a haf day..our sch did vv well for olevels so got haf day to wei lao the tchers..i guess we did really vv well becos we nvr had haf days becos of olevels for the last 3 yrs..after the lessons went wif my frens to mac to eat, then went library..in the end i got home at abt the same time as a usual day..
Tues pe my class played soccer wif 4d...my class, where soccer standards is one of the lowest of the entire level..naturally got a thrashing from 4d...but we r gradually improving..haha..
Recently my class pple r getting more n more lame...i haf a grp of lame pple on my left, and another in front of me..of course i was influenced as well and joined them....laming's not bad actually...it proves tt we r not dead..small laming sessions in between boring lessons oso help perk me up..haha...but wonder if this will continue all the way into the olevels?
Nth else happened anymore during the rest of the week...its still lessons and lessons and lessons...
Todae went to sch for bio test...think i wun do well for the structural qns..all funny-nvr-see-b4 qns..haiz..
After the test ended at 8.15 i went home wif my frens..i found the weather gd so instead of taking a bus from tamp interchange, i walked home..dunnoe why..i seem to like walking..
I realised tt i'm addicted to ice cream...this wk almost everyday went to buy icecream from the ah pek outside my sch..dunnoe y his ice cream so nice...soon i will get fatter and fatter...until i bloat like a pig..haha..
This week the weather was really really hhhooottt...although there was rain(yes, heavy ones) but it didnt make me cool...until todae the wind suddenly blew strongly..but the afternoon still quite hot..
Lately channel 8 has this wo ai wo jia drama..i love it~ its so heartwarming..
I haf made up my mind..i gonna study computing all over again..i realised tt my knowledge of computers haf been vv mixed up...its time i get the facts right..starting off is a bk on networking which i borrowed on mon..
Oso signed up for a course on java programming..an expensive $42 course which i haf to pay myself..and the place to learn this:Singapore Polytechnic..the deal is tt its in the west of singapore and i live in the east...worse thing is..it starts at 8.30 am on sats...wonder wat time i haf to wake up..
But i still signed up...too gd a course to miss..i dun mind waking up early..only scared i will haf tests on sats...hmm..
Oso signed up for the micromouse competition..after a horrible experience not too long ago i tink we gotta work hard this time..
Gd ting: my team is getting a new mouse. bad ting: we dunnoe how to operate the new mouse. haiz..
Sleague has started this wk..haha..i'm one of the rare singaporeans who still follows the sleague...haha..i'm a loyal supporter of tampines rovers~ hope they win this yr..haha
Formula 1 is oso starting this week...i follow the races, but dun watch them..60+ laps around a track can bore me to death..i follow formula 1 only becos of the cars..haha..i support Mclaren Merc~their black cars simply looks cool...

Long time nvr blog liaoz...last wk not in the mood to blog abt anyting..
This wk was yet another jing tian dong di week...many things happened..
First i flunked my chem test...was actually expecting it cos i left many qns blank..the tcher said the test qns are the hardest from other schs' prelim papers..haiz..little wonder i failed..
Nvr mind..i just didnt haf enuff practice...i just practise summore then can liaoz..
Other tests this wk include maths tests...which i haf a mistake each in both...
Of course the biggest event tt happened this wk was the release of olevels..the process of me waiting for the chinese results was a nerve wreaking one..i had nvr been so nervous b4..wow..
At first, word went around tt our chi tcher will gif us the results during her period..which was after our recess..so after recess, she came in..the whole class was quiet........
THen she said..the sch will only allow gif the results after sch, at 1pm...at first there was noise again..protesting...
Then she said she had seen the results already n there were two a2s and 3 b3s in our class...and tt was it..the ENTIRE class became eerily QUIET...no a single person sopke a word..for the rest of the chi period, and the physics and cme periods tt followed, no one had the mood to study anyting..
FInally after sch the tcher came in..she took her time to split the results and record them..while the entire class sat there waiting..fidgeting..until she gave the results..
I was oso nervous myself..so nervous i couldnt stand, couldnt sit..main reason is becos my chi is one of the weaker ones in my class..so i haf a higher chance of not getting a1..
She slowly read out the names and gif out one by one.........
Finally it was me..i got an a1 and an distinction..PPPHHEEWW..
But now i cant stop..must continue to work hard becos lately my tests are all returning red crosses..haiz...
Lately i realise i like ice-cream vv much...one uncle came to sell icecream outside my sch and i haf been eating it every day!haha..dunnoe y..ice-cream suddenly tastes so nice...hope i wun get fatter..
Lately oso realised tt i haf frens who share the same problems wif me..was quite a surprise becos all along i tot i was the only one wif these probs..now i am beginning to tink tt it is the result of a developed society n we both agree tt there r many more like us...
Haiz..our 2.4km run is coming..we sec4s will not be joining the others to run at east coast park but rather, at bedok stadium during our pe periods...our tcher told us b4 tt the track at east coast was shorter, which was y we could clock shorter times..i myself realised it when my class went to bedok stadium for a trial run..i clocked 12.30!suck man..now i need to start training liaoz.....
On the back of the olevel certificate it said:This Results Slip is not a certificate. The Ministry of Education, Singapore, reserves the right to amend the results shown. I couldnt help but think tt there is a chance tt those pple had graded me wrongly.....

What an eventful week!
Monday went down to Alpha Innovations to continue with the preparation of robogp competition..The tcher drove us down to the company but hafway, on the expressway, her car broke down!Engine was overheated..haiz..so the few of us first walked down to a nearby petrol station..filled our stomachs then walked to paya lebar mrt station, took mrt to aljuned, then take bus to the company..wasted so much time..
Tuesday again went down to AI....haiz..these two days reached home only at abt 7pm..at home so tired, cant study..
Wed took a break...went home to study..
Thurs and fri couldnt go, cos on thurs sch ends vv late, while on fri there's cca..
Todae is valentine's day..spent my day not wif a girl but wif the robot again..haha..went to temasek polytechnic to continue the thing..many other schs were there as well...so crowded..and their performances are all vv gd..ah..pressure...
It wasnt a smooth day either..my fren tried to take some measurements on the robot(read:metal ruler) while the robot is on..the moment he places the ruler on the robot, the motor start going haywire and after tt, half of the sensors cant work...yup..there was a short circuit..so..me and my fren rushed down all the way to Alpha Innovations...the bus trip to there and back took more than half-an-hour..we spent only 5 mins at AI..the woman there changed the cpu board and all worked again..
AI itself was oso vv crowded...now tt the competition is near, many schs are rushing to complete the thing..
The guy there, presumably the manager, seemed to noe us..when he saw us he went, "I heard tt ur speed is vv fast huh?" Err....
B4 going back to AI we bought a roti prata each to munch on the way..haha..
So we stayed at temasek polytechnic all the way till 5 plus...till the professor threw us out..
Competition aside, I had my tests this wk too...physics on thurs, emaths on fri and bio on sat..think i wun do too badly for all three la...
CCA on fri was alright..for the first time i talked to tt new guy who came into the cca..actually i tink he not really ap la..still alright..let's hope so..
But i was scolded by the tchers...cos some of the sec4s werent doing anyting...they were scolded too..but actually it was my fault la..cos now tt we r in sec4s, i usually leave them alone and not assign anyting to them..dunnoe why the tchers scold..haiz..
The chi tcher wanted us to write a zhou ji....theme:Men need more care and concern than women. Oh man..how am i supposed to write tt??!! She still want us to write 3 pages somemore...wah...took me more than an hour to complete a decent piece of work..yawn...
Todae the professor said the room will be open to us for use..i dunnoe if i should go becos i haf chi test tml..the last two were crap..this one..i cant get this kind of crap results anymore..haiz...

Todae went to temasek poly to do prepare for the robogp competition..besides us there were pple from other schs as well..there's a couple of teams whose performances were vv gd..anyway we shared the two racers among the three teams from ahs..spent the whole time there just to do a turn..haha..but in the end we sort of completed tt turn..
Only two wks left to the competition and we haf only just started..ahs's closest rivals are bartley sec and woodlands ring..haevnt seen their performances yet..haiz if we wanna win this yr we must buck up..
We left at abt 2 and i took one of the racers home..gotta handle it carefully cos tt is vv expensive..
After i reached home i quickly wolfed down my lunch and its was tuition..tcher taught differentiation...find it okay..not too hard..but its vv tedious..
Oso got some advice and details on jc and uni life and jc subject combinations..hmm..although im in sec4 i'm still not sure which jc i should go or wat subject combination i should take..haiz..
Tt's basically all for todae...
One boy got knocked down by a taxi and died on the spot..haiz..poor guy..but the traffic light was so far away..any1 would haf dashed across the road instead..maybe they should build more traffic lights there..
Must start doing hw now..then prepare for chi retest..haiz..

Another week has gone.....This wk...not much gd things happened..alot of bad things happened though..
First was the chi test..flunked it...tcher started giving the papers out from the lowest...then i didnt get my paper...then she gif out the papers tt score over 30..35...40...I still didnt get my paper..by then my frens all looking at me and giving me tt 'u score so high ah!' look..i kept saying 'it cant be..either i didnt haf my paper or she calculated wrongly'...in the end i was correct...she missed my paper...i got the lowest in class...haiz..got scolded by her...corrections 20 times, then retest again..haiz..
Todae cca oso like hell...last min inform me say we cant se the lab cos another cca using it..in the end i tried teaching the entire club on computer hardware...no pics..so i gotta draw it..but could see most cant understand much..
Two new guys transferred to our club..one was particularly attention seeking..he had a conflict wif the vp and our cca's student councillors..i calmed both parties down and politely talked to tt guy..in the end he went to meet the tcher..
Actually his attitude isnt really gd..i myself wanted to scream at him..but in the end i ren..the rest were blowing their tops off..at me..after he left..
Wed went to AI..wanted to continue to prepare for the robogp competition..we tried a new way of going there..but took the wrong bus and nearly went wrong place...when we finally reached AI they said they dun haf any robots for us...and we had to come nxt mon..but we managed to get the measurements of the robot out b4 we left..so at least we nvr waste our trip..Also met our seniors, now in jc, there..they were the ones who won champion for our sch 2 yrs ago and now..they r representing their jc..chatted a while b4 we go off...
Got to noe a new fren..a mistake made by our fren and we got to noe each other..haha..quite a fun person..
Basially tt's abt all tt happened this wk...cant rmb anyting else...
Now AVA is culling almost all the chickens and ducks at pulau ubin..haiz..although i noe its impt to do tt in order to prevent bird flu from spreading..but its a pity when u come to sg's last standing kampong village and there r no chickens and ducks walking around..haiz..stupid bird flu..
Haiz...tml gotta do the competition thing again...this time we going to temasek polytechnic...for me still alright..since i lived only 400m away..but the preparation..haiz...only 2 wks left and we havent got any program out..haiz..

Wow..todae was a busy day...
Woke up to find tt it was raining heavily...rather cold...Went to play lan wif my frens at this lan shop in Katong..at first i wanted to try my hand at a few games...but in the end spent my 3 hrs playing only Battlefield 1942...it was addictive..haha..at first we only played wif computer bots..but later got human players joined our game and opposed us.. esp this guy who called himself 'Robertgay'...i was the second-best fragger in one game(after xq)..then this guy so pro..he overtook me..haiz..
After the lan session, which cost me $4.50(argh)..i rushed to my hometown where my pri sch class has a class gathering..added lunch at long john..all my frens looked better now..all grown up..and more chatty than b4...after some of us guys finished our food we had to wait for the rest so we started playing magic wif a deck of cards..until a grp of pple asked for the seats to be given to them..haha..
Later we went for a movie..watched the Last Samurai..it was a nice show...truly showed the spirit of samurai..but the show was a little bit gross...cos there was too much blood and heads rolling off..their battle scene could be improved too..they should haf more pple fighting, making it more grand..like those in the Lord of the Rings..haha..
After the movie we asked for photos to be taken..at first went to neoprint to do a cut..but in the end it was too ex..so we decided to get a disposable camera..we took the photos then found out they need haf an hour to develop..if we choose the best of those we need another haf-an hour to mass develop...so in the end we decided to develop those tt we took..the mass develop we do it another time..
Reached home at 7++..rather late..but this was one fun day i had..
Tml start sch liaoz..gonna be busy again...now must go prepare for chi test tt falls on wed...i dun wan to be scolded again..haha..

Another week's gone..having mixed feelings...happy becos wkend's coming...not happy becos of the the tests and stuff to do nxt wk..haiz..
This wk...not much events..everyday still just in time reached sch.. run all the way to classrm, put down my bag then rush all the way to the hall..arriving just b4 the sch bell rings..for some reason i dun want to bring my bag to the hall..
Tues was chem test..on redox..guess i wasnt too bad..hope i wun score too low..i didnt get a gd score last time..
Thurs was amaths test..was reading late into wed night..read until doze off...wake up study again b4 sleeping...but the test wasnt too hard..besides tt sets question the rest should be all right..hope so la..
Todae fri was cca...again...haiz..a relief to me when it ended..argh..i dun tink i will go into the details..
Lately the bird flu is sweeping through Asia..another dangerous virus after Sars...haiz how come these viruses come one after another?Wonder when we will haf a day of peace..
Gd thing Singapore is still not affected by the bird flu..but chicken and egg prices have risen after Singapore banned imports from several countries..chicken i not sure but eggs haf risen to 20 cents per egg...up from 12 cents..tt works out to $2 for 10 eggs..up from $1.20..its expected to rise again..
Then we imported so much chicken from malaysia..if malaysia is down wif bird flu there will be a serious shortage of chickens..tt will be a major issue to Singapore..hope it doesnt happen..
This entire wk was rather wet and cold..almost everyday rain and rain and rain..todae newspper say this month was the wettest in 30 yrs...all of the sudden rain so much..
Our new sch buildings, supposed to be new, leaks..There was a lot of water everywhere..paint was dropping off..haiz..then places which nvr flood b4 are flooding now..dunnoe if this prime proj is gd or bad for us?
Nxt wk there is chi, chem, ss tests..then gotta prepare for a competition too...this competition has given us quite alot of pressure becos my seniors won it two yrs ago...so...and the tcher was saying..winning's not impt..its the experience tt's impt..haiz..But i haf experienced many failures b4 le..i dun wan to lose again..Argh..
Tml got cca..to prepare the sec2s for several competitions...one in march, one in june and one in sept..we haf nvr won b4..kept losing to those independant schs..this yr we gu zhu yi zhi..gonna do all we can for the last time b4 handover..haiz..if we fail.................

Chinese New Yr break over liaoz, todae go back to sch le..haiz..time flies..
Chu yi woke up, watched tv until around noon then went my aunt's hse, which is just a few blks away from my hse..she was one of my closest aunts..when we reached her hse she was alone..so chatted wif her..helped her serve us..haha..and watched tv..stayed for a few hrs b4 going home..at home continued watching tv play com..then chu yi's gone..
Chu er woke up..at first wanted to go my another aunt's hse at sengkang, but my aunt(the one i visited on chu yi) called and asked us to wait until chu san then go together..so in the end stayed at home..in the afternoon my cousins(one married, one single), along wif cousin's wife and 2 daughters..then sat in the living room and chatted...then my cousins asked me to work hard and go to a gd jc..haiz..no choice..they all educated pple..cousin's wife a tcher somemore..then their elder daughter was running around, climbing the sofa and grabbing the sweets..haha..the younger one still a baby, soo vv guai..just looked around the hse..after they left it was back to tv and comp..
Chu san was rainy day..rained the whole day..went my another aunt's hse at sengkang..i always liked their hse..vv nice..a sad thing was tt the dog they kept has went totally blind..so i noticed it was quieter than b4 now..last time vv lively one..haiz..
After the sengkang visit it was off to changi..my cousin's(the married one) hse..a three-storey semi-detached..haiz..bth..so rich..this was the 1st time i go to their hse..wah..so niceee..
Stayed there for half a day..cos my mother helped out in the preparation of lunch..i just sat on the sofa..watched the elder daughter play and a video of the family in thailand for holiday during the dec holidays..in the afternoon alot of visitors came to their hse..most of them my distant relatives and some of cousin's frens..we stayed a litle while more b4 going home..tt ends chu san..
It continued to rain..it was a gd thing...make the weather cooling..anyway water symbolises wealth..haha..
Chu si was a sunday..we went to this temple at paya lebar to pray to the Star God(bai tai sui)...wow..a HUGE crowd there..there was already a traffic jam outside the temple..inside the temple was pple, pple and more pple..they were all queuing up to bai tai sui..my mother oso wanted..so i gotta help her queue while she got some stuff ready...stand for almost half an hour b4 my mother took over..then i went to buy ice cream eat..then oso looked at my fortune for this yr..it said this yr isnt a really gd yr for us Dragons..must work hard..may yu xiao ren..dun gamble so much etc..haiz..
As we were abt to leave the lion dance troupe came..performed lion dance and dragon dance..then every1 was looking..the sound was vv loud..
Went to bedok town centre to haf lunch..there were two lion dance troupes performing for serveral stalls..then there was a dance just a few metres away from us..the sound of the instruments left me temporary deaf..at 1st i tot the two troupes going to compete by making louder sounds..luckily they didnt..
Was surprised to see several malays in one of the troupes..seems like they r interested in lion dance too..
My Cny break ended wif me rushing through the hw..
Todae go sch..got back the chi test..haiz..vv lousy..got scolded by the tcher in front of the class..said this was my first battle and i haf lost..haiz..
Tml still got chem test on redox..gotta go study now.

Its New Year! Happy New Year to all...yr 2003 wasnt a gd yr..hope yr 2004 will be a gd yr for all of us..haha...
Yesterday went to sch..the sch had allowed us to go to sch in home clothes and i wore a red shirt, which i had juz bought, and a pair of pants..reached sch liaoz, then had flag raising, tcher took attendance..then we slack around until abt 8.30 when we went to the hall for the concert..
The concert was nice..short and sweet..unlike our last yr tchers' day concert where it was a horrible 3-hr hell..this time it lasted only an hour..the concert items were nice too..esp the skits..quite funny...haha..
there was tt sissy guy in eng drama..so cute..and mark and qingzhi in the chi drama..all creative roles..
After the concert i proceeded to the staff rm to gif mrs lee a cny card and oranges on behalf on my class, then went to the canteen to wait for vin while he kept his band instruments..whereby after tt me, vin and zhi wei went back to our pri sch yuneng..it was juz a stone's throw away so we walked there..
We were among the first sch's to reach there..they were rather strict..we were restricted to the canteen and we gotta tell those pple standing outside the staff rm which tcher we were looking for then they help us call him/her out..the staff rm is now fitted wif password sys so we students cant go in..the tchers have this card which after they scan it, allow them to go in..
My tcher Mrs Janet Lee was already in the canteen so we went to greet her...she abit cant rmb us now..she rmb i was vv gd in drawing but 4got my name..haha..Found out from her the students were doing some art and craft in their classrms..i was thinking:only art, make a bit noise oso nvm wat..haiz..
She oso said the new principal wasnt vv gd..this cannot tt cannot...
After we chatted a while the dunman high pple came, along wif the ball...we heck care the sch and went to the court to play soccer...played wif the batch of students who is a yr younger than us, oso taught by mrs lee..Their soccer skills was vv gd..think better than us..maybe we should retire liaoz..haha..
Played a while then the RI pple came...then continued playing until noon...went to long john sliver to eat b4 going home..
While i was on my journey i passed by a playground..two malay kids saw me and went,'Uncle(!!!), wat's the time now?' i told them the time and one kid replied wif a thank u, and a gong xi fa cai..a cute little boy...
At home helped my mum wif some house work, watched a bit of tv and slept a while...then at nite had dinner, shou sui by watching the countdown show on channel 8........

WOW..more or less finished the testimonials for most of my frens..not a easy task becos friendster was so lagged...i had to switch from mysingtel to mystarhub to access it faster..
Still owe a couple of stuff...must get them done b4 chinese new yr..not vv nice to owe things past the yr..so tml still abit busy..haha..
This week was a rather short wk..only two days of lessons..tml is cny celebrations then thurs and fri is cny itself..looking forward to it..haha...simply becos its the NEW YEAR~
It wasnt b4 some suffering b4 i can relax todae...mon was hcl test so was mugging on sun..they test sec 1 work leh...so long ago stuff..all forgot liaoz..Then sat and sun were tuition..so had to rush the tuition hw..haiz..
But the test didnt come out too well...estimated 10 marks gone...hope i can get above 35/50 cos if i dun i haf to retake the test..haiz..then the tcher reads out all our marks in front of the class...so it isnt something gd to score low..haiz...hope i will haf gd luck.
Then todae there was supposed to be a chem test on redox..but tcher postponed it..so rushed like hell for nth..todae in class had to rush finish zuo wen and eng summary...so busy tt i couldnt go for recess..
After sch went to mac wif frens..ate a filet o fish and an ice cream...spent juz a mere $2.05..quite cheap haha..
At nite i went out wif my mum to opp my house to do some shopping..wow..so crowded...tonite the markets and supermarkets were opening till late at nite to clear their stock...the prime supermarket was esp crowded..all the pple doing last min shopping...then at our queue there were three guys who were buying loads of stuff..i guess they were having a party or sumting..
Then at the coffeeshop there was another grp of youngsters who were there to lao yu sheng...making alot of noise but no 1's complaining..tt should how cny should sound like..Then the entire coffeeshop were packed wif families..wonderful atmosphere..
We oso went to the market..saw a bunch of pple waiting to buy roasted chicken and ducks..many pple were oso buying other stuff..like fish and vegetables..
Enjoyed my trip out..cant go chinatown but at least can feel the atmosphere of cny..
Added a section called 'my ambitions'..got alot of ambitions but couldnt decide on wat i wanna be..anyone reading this can help me decide?haha...btw DSTA stands for 'Defence Science and Technology Agency' while DMERI stands for 'Defence Medical and Environmental Research Institute'...thks pple~
Tml can wear home clothes to sch..haha..then after tt i will be going back to pri sch...visiting the tchers is the secondary objective..seeing my frens is the primary..haha..but tml i wear long pants then later dunnoe how to play soccer..haiz...tt's tml prob..tml then settle..

Finally...one week's over~ had a rather busy week..went to sch on mon with still abit of sickness...was still coughing...mon had a bio test on genetics, thurs had test on the 2 chi bks and bio test on mutation while todae had test on amaths matrices..rest of the time were lessons...todae was cca..aiyah same routine la..
Todae the sec1s joined us for cca...our cca got 10 sec1s(pathetic, same as last yr)...but only 3 guys..then we took them to the classrm where we had a chat wif them...then played some games etc..finally it was over..wasnt too bad la...
Took the chang cheng route home todae..went to a bus stop at a main road and wait for 69...it was the same bus stop me and my pri sch best frens(zhixiang and kai wei) went to wait for bus after sch during pri sch days..there's this open space near the bus stop then we would put down our bags and run around or climb railings etc..so fun..now i'm 15 yrs old and wearing long pants...while i could out down my bag i couldnt run around anymore...too old for tt...then when the bus came we would pick up our bags and run for the bus..haha...pri sch life were still the best...tough but fun..
At the coffee shop opp my house i bought a packet of coffee....i always loved their coffee...still rmb last time pri sch almost every day will go buy one..haha..
Chinese New Year's coming nxt wk..not b4 i pass the hcl test and cca meeting on mon..haiz..but i'm still looking forward to it...i always loved cny..haha..think this yr on the eve i'm going back to yu neng to visit my tchers and see my frens..dunnoe if they going back or not..
Just realised my neighbour couple had been quarreling for almost a yr liaoz...didnt hear them quarrel b4..my mum and i wouldnt haf knew abt it if 'auntie' nvr tell my mum..haiz..
Wow..lately there's been alot of news...the sars in guangdong and the bird flu in some other countries in Asia..they r coming just b4 cny...cant we have a peaceful new yr?now the bird flu has caused prices of chicken to rise..now wanna eat a chicken oso so ex..haiz..hope all these viruses will go off soon..
Ha..todae saw the news say one shipping company has decided to terminated its services in malaysia and use sg's ports again...should be gd news for us..since sg depends alot on our ports..hmm...
Haiz..gotta go sleep le..tml still gotta go sch early to do class deco for cny..9am so early summore..haiz..

First week at sch has finally passed...it was alright...had a chem test and started lessons...somehow teachers nowadays use a lot of computer..every other tcher tt comes in ask for the computer to be set up...but actually i dun really see much difference..
Fri was cca...gathered all my members then told them all the probs tt acac is facing now...tell them all these so i hope tt they will buck up this yr...my seniors, me and everyone else would not want to see acac been closed down..if it closes down while its under me then i will become a zui ren..i wun forgive myself for tt..
Anyway the classroom was rather big and to make sure everyone hears wat i say i gotta shout...in the end my voice became hoarse..haiz...
After cca as i was going home on the bus i realised tt i was becoming sick..i was feeling cold while the air-con was blowing at me...Once i reached home i took my temperature...it confirmed my suspicions with a 38.5 degree reading...my mum went out shopping so i gotta do everyting myself..i ate some noodles, then ate a panadol b4 going off to sleep...woke up after an hour to realise my fever was gone...but my mum, who came back soon after, insisted on going to the doc..later i found out i also had a sore throat...
Went home, ate sumting, ate my medicine b4 going off to sleep..However i woke up at midnite to realise tt my fever had come back..this time to 40 degrees...this isnt a gd temperature becos brain cells will be destroyed when body temperature rises more than 4 degrees above normal temperature..so the whole night my mother was sooo worried..haiz..i myself felt quite bad tt she couldnt sleep well...
This morning when i woke up my fever was again gone..but my parents insist on going to the doc again..this time the doc gave stronger pills for fever....then i went home to sleep...again woke up wif a 40 degree fever..haiz...
Now as i am typing this blog my fever is gone liaoz..but i am feeling abit cold...hope i wun get any fever again..cos i want to go to sch on monday...got test on tt day..haiz...

Dun haf much time to blog todae...todae main event was the edusave bursary awards...it was 4pm at junyuan sec..missed it for three yrs le..so quite a surprise to get it this yr..but made me nervous too..cos got to go up on stage..haha..when i reach there it was already a huge crowd..i carried a sling bag there, holding my water bottle and umbrella...but i saw tt vv few pple brought their bags along so i felt abit extra..haha..saw some of my schmates..oso saw one of my cca junior there..luckily got a pal there to talk to..otherwise vv lonely..
The guest-of-honour was of course, mr sin boon ann..a familiar face to me...was the guest at many presentations and i shook hands wif him several times liaoz..
The thing started late becos the previous session was slow...but i tink its more abt inefficient planning..we r supposed to be there latest by 4pm..but it started only at 5 plus...haiz..
Then the mecee wanted us to clap for the recipients..but of course..the usual case was tt few pple would clap..in the end he scolded us then we clapped abit louder...but later it died down again..
They had pple guarding the doors..they want us to stay till the end in respect to all the recipents..but in the end many pple left as well...so the jc and uni students quite ke lian cos no one watch them..
As for me, i had another surprise when i saw my senior, this yr jc2, there...To support him i went back to my seat and waited for him..wow..all the seats around me were empty except me and some of those town council pple..i feel a bit odd there..but haha..i juz waited..
Not much news todae..perhaps the one on the NASA rover landing on Mars..felt happy for them..haha...but maybe they should get the rover to search for the European rover tt went lost..haha..
Hmm..k liaoz..muz prepare for sch tml...argh..can feel the monday blues liaoz..haiz..

Phew..finally can heave a sigh of relief...todae's cca selection day's over! Not everyting worked out well...but at least its over...we haf been busy over these past few days..finally its over..
After tt we packed up, i went home eat lunch b4 going out wif my mother...went to this temple to collect some stuff tt can gif us gd luck..mostly food..The queue was sooo long..while my mother queued i sat at a playground beside it and watched little kids playing..so cute..haha..But the weather was sooo hot...made me all sweaty..
WOW...the show at Chinatown was fantastic...i didnt go there but watching the news was enuff to make me all excited...all the crowds the fireworks...so re nao!!esp the firecrackers..it was simply fantastic!Hmm...if nxt yr they are going to do it again i will go there and witness it..it is sumting definitely not to be missed~
One man, whose daughter couldnt get into a sch near his house but instead got into a sch faraway, decided not to let her go to sch during the 2 wks while they wait for the appeal...i think tt's ridiculous...he's protesting at the expense of her daughter's education...dunno wat's he thinking...crazy guy..
Sch started yesterday...brought several bks to sch..then they say no lesson..haiz..haha guess the sec4s are really excited being the most senior and made alot of noise..got scolded by teacher but guess no 1 cares..haha..sch still rox~
The teachers i got were ok so far..at least for my form teacher..it was mrs lim our maths teacher..the rest havent see them yet..but should be alright..
Played a game where we haf to take an apple each, rmb how it looks like..the teacher took them back, mixed them up and we r supposed to find back our apple..guangfeng guessed the teacher going to say tt we r like the apples..we r unique etc...of course he guessed correctly..
Sch song..ARGH~ i will continue to sing the original one...nv will i accept the new one..
This few days i had been busy finishing the hw..tt's y nv blog..even had to reject a lunch treat from miss wong..but even if i go i wouldnt haf eaten..bu hao yi si to let her pay esp when its at a restaurant..anyway i tink i'm better suited to be at a coffee shop..restaurant's too high-class..haha..
Crossed to the new yr awake...watched the countdown party at sentosa on tv...it was a huge crowd too...hmm..tink i should go out more often..otherwise soon i will become a sua gu..haha..
2003 wasnt a vv gd yr....alot of bad news and vv little gd news..haiz..since its over then dun talk abt it liaoz..lets hope 2004 will be a better yr~
Hmm..since its a new yr of course i will haf new yr resolutions..most impt i hope to haf more confidence in myself..sumting which i haf lacked for a long long time...haha...then i oso hope i can manage my time better so i will still haf time to do watever i like...

Hey~ todae the wind still blowing..one min hot like hell, the nxt min cold like hell...but no rain...haiz..
Todae mother and brother went si ma lu guanyin temple to pray and do shopping..i couldnt go becos i got tuition in the afternoon..after they went out i listened to some songs...actually only listened to 2..tt korean song which i said i liked and zhang jing xuan's My Way..listened so many time, i memorised the lyrics liaoz..haha..
Tuiton..had tt tired-in-the-beginning-then-energetic-at-the-end syndrome again..maybe i should start doing some research on it..haha..
Watched news again...todae news..first is abt e one on the studying of hcl and chi b..tink these stuff come at the right time...cos Sg's chinese standards are dropping..now China's economy is opening..in the future we haf to do a lot of trading wif the chinese...even foreigners are learning chinese liaoz..so we cant afford to lose out huh..haha..
Then there is the news tt the aviation industry is picking up and may employ 500 workers nxt yr..again another gd news for sg's economy..maybe i shall be one of them..hmm..
Todae read the newspper..there was a report on Iran's earthquake..the president(some long name) said tt his country cannot cope wif tt alone and welcomed help from all corners of the world, except Israel..mother think he got qi gai to reject help from his enemy..but i tink tt's stupid..now so many civilians are trapped under those concrete and he is still rejecting help..its a disaster leh..they should forget their en en yuan yuan for the moment and help rescue the civilians..mad guy..
Then there is oso the suspected sars case in guangdong..tt guy say he had nv travelled to anywhere else in the past month and had nv eaten wild food..haha if he really got sars then wow..his body can create sars virus sia..haha..but mother say he bluffing one...lets wait for the results..
The government is going to start a fund to help needy families..which i tink of course is a gd thing..but i hope they will be abit more careful at choosing the pple to make sure those rich pple dun get this...Then the PM say they may be starting a 'baby fund' to encourage to haf more children...when mother and i heard it we both laughed..dunnoe wat's so funny...juz found it funny..haha..

Todae is a really really CCCold day...although there was the sun but there was the wind as well...it was blowing so strong tt my calendar keeps falling down and all my stuff on the table drops to the floor...and i was feeling really cold..odd day huh..
Todae was quite a happening day....first was of course the windy day..And i went to watch the Lord of the Rings! Went wif my pri sch best fren Zhixiang..now a strong and clever guy studying at the prestigious Raffles Institution...haha we brought our respective report bks todae and wow...he all a1s sia...(noe he bu shuang..but he cant do anyting..Try hacking my blog la =P)He nafra test oso all vv gd..all better than me leh..get gold somemore..
Walking towards TM i saw some of the choir members..should be comm members..they waiting for bus but i dunnoe go where...wave to chengpei though..
We sneaked some food we bought from NTUC into the cinema..something we did for the 2 previous shows too..haha..the cinema food simply too ex liaoz..
The movie was splendid! WOnderful movie..It juz felt so gd to see tt the gd haf won the evil...esp the Battle of Helm's Deep..it was WOW...The computer effects were oso well done..vv professionally done~ but there were gross scenes where Gollum bit into a raw fish(the camera was right infront of him) and when he bit off Frodo's finger...but i nv regret my $8.50..haha..
But the movie was almost 3-and-a-haf-hrs and when we finished watching we almost couldnt stand up..Had to walk around TM a while...In the end we went to opp my house the Big Bkshop..he bought some stationery..i tried looking for the pu zhu du ben but couldnt find it..It was abt 6.40 when we split our ways..had a gd time...
When i reached home first thing i heard was the news talking abt a kidnap case...but the news was already reported hafway so i 'caught no balls' It was after i watched the 10pm news b4 i got the whole picture..
Watched the 8pm channel 8 show introducing the nightife of sg...didnt noe sg night time still vv re nao...maybe one day i should go take a walk..Any1 follow me?=D
Oso watched the 9.30pm Jiao Dian..Was abt China and Taiwan...haha my mother and i discussed abt it..We both tink tt Chen Shui Bian abit..hmm..haha..getting abit sensitive =X
Lately there is the request to review the bridge tt connects malaysia and sg..hmm...actually i agree tt they should review the bridge..i suggest tt they should build a really nice bridge and oso develop the area around it..so it becomes a tourist attraction..and gain international reputation..isnt tt gd for both countries?
HAIZ...i find the kidnappers SSSOOO STUPID...Why didnt they noe some1 was following them leh?Why did they left the girl in the car?Why didnt they check whether the girl was still inside the car?The girl gone liaoz they still went to ask for ransom..Then in the end get caught...haiz..But both my mother and i agree tt they had no clear plan..maybe even last min kidnap one..tt's y dun even haf clear escape route and gd timing..
Then there was the car accident at Tampines Ave 10 there..quite familar wif it cos i used tt road whenever i go to a temple nearby..i guess the driver was driving too fast(tt road was lvv ong but rather empty) and did not notice the car infront stopped..
Then there was the Iran earthquake and the China gas leak...quite saddening to see so many pple died..My mother heard other pple say, the world population too large liaoz..so they(those up there) took some away...seems like it was already predicted(not the quake, i mean the loss of lives) in the 1960s..Who noes, maybe shi jie mo ri is coming~
Was doing my tuition hw(a ton of matrices questions) when xy smsed me ask me to entertain her and tell her secrets -.-'' but she slept b4 i told her anyting..haha..It was then i took a break from the maths and wrote this blog..

Over this few days i received christmas greetings from other frens as well...from shijia, cheng pei and vanessa..thks alot~
This 2 days oso sunny days..although there's still a light breeze..but i still miss the raining days~
Slept on the sofa last night...haiz..i painted my bedrm with paint tt haf been kept for a long time and for unknown reasons, there was a horrible smell...i couldnt stand it so no choice sleep on the sofa..wasnt vv comfortable becos the armrests of my sofa is made of wood and i am 'longer' than the sofa, so gotta bend my legs..but i still managed a gd 7-hr sleep..
Got a game called Uplink from yufeng...its a game tt simulates hacking and it got my brother hooked on it..he played for a long long time..i myself played a while, then got 'caught' by a 'company'..it asked me to 'pay' a 'fine', which i refused, in the end my 'account' was 'terminated'..haha..
Todae wanted to do hw, but argh..all the tv programmes got me hooked instead...wif the 'hito music awards' on channel u and a movie(dunnoe y name, only noe got andy lau) on channel 8...so wasted a few hours..
Then there is oso xiao quan telling me to 'appreciate his new comp'..a $2000 dollar powerhouse...this is the second one after feldman's one...but xq's 1 even better...a AMD64 processor....haiz..all rich pple...but i will still wait until prescott comes out..
New Year is coming...somehow i feel excited..oso dunnoe y..haha...but nth beats the Chinese New Year..haha..definitely not the hongbao money..but its the atmosphere..but i still like all these festivals~
Not much other things happened during these 2 days...news oso not much big stuff...perhaps the one about France cancelling 6 flights due to signs of terrorism...tt's a bad thing for pple who want to go back to their hometown to celebrate Christmas...
The other 'big news' is perhaps abt the one on the missing girl who called home after 1 yr o_O She said she is still in Singapore, but in a vv dark place..haiyo..Singapore so small..still can hide pple..then the police say its not her..hmm...complex ah..hope she will be saved one day~
Anyway..gotta do hw(argh..) again..haiz..dunnoe when can finish..haiz..have a nice daY~

Todae is one day where the sun came out bright and sunny..which is a pleasant sight after several days of rain..
Went vin's house to borrow a Lego motor, cos the robot my cca building requires 3 motor, whereas a full set comes only wif 2, so gotta borrow 1 from him...carrying a toolbox-like box tt holds the lego parts i went into his condo, worrying tt the security guards would mistake me for a burglar(becos of tt toolbox-like box)..luckily i walked past undetected..haha i was tinking if i really became a burglar one day i can walk away easily..haha..anyway after getting the motor, i decided to avoid those guards so i went by the back gate...walking one big round and a long way to sch..when i reached sch i saw mark tan, who went 'wow'(becos i was sweating like hell)..
Todae was sec1 reporting day...so saw all the little kids wif their parents waiting to buy uniforms and bks..together wif several teachers and all the SCs on duty, it was a HUGE crowd..i walked around the whole sch b4 finding a classrm where we can do our cca stuff..spent the day finishing up the lego and doing the banner..
Lasted the day without lunch, juz like yesterday..so went home hungry..
Its amazing to find tt kids nowadays are soooo busy...piano lesson camp go out etc..even many of those who came went off hafway..the girl too, i assume going off wif the guy, but she didnt say anyting..2 of them even called me a few hours after cca started to ask whether they r still needed..i dismissed them..
i rmb when i was in sec1 and 2, whenever they ask for cca my batch(yf, feld, gib an ee etc) could make it and stayed it right till the end of the day..even now we still do(although this time feld went finland)..but those juniors..haiz..
And i oso rmb tt we were a active bunch and talked a lot...now?they sit there, stare at the 4 walls and do nth..
Miss Chan say the VP has 'gd things'(she even stressed on these 2 words) for the cca n elaborated a bit, but i'm not sure whether i can say it out, so i juz keep it confidential for now..Let's juz wait and see..
We Singaporeans r changing mobile devices(no 1 calls it a phone now, even in chi they call it shuo ji, no more shuo ti dian hua) at an alarming rate...all rich pple huh..
Then there was oso reports tt less pple go gifted class becos all went through train..but to me its all the same..stress..
Then oso got those illegal immigrants who swam to sg..they swam using those floats tt babies use!haiz..they are so despo..heard from my bro tt some were caught at pulau tekong(my bro's there now)..but i'm not sure abt tt..
After 2 busy days tml can stay at home again..but muz continue my hw..haiz..

Argh..todae is yet another day which i tink i haf failed terribly in my job..called for a cca session, of the 10 sec1s and 15 sec2s, only 1 sec1 came and 6 sec2s came..even my same-age frens, of the 11, 6 came, but 3 left b4 they did anyting much..HAIZ...
Built a lego robot..bought cloth, paint, paintbrushes and batts..tt's abt all we did todae...asked miss chan whether can dun do banner...in e end got scolded again..So no choice muz do lor..haiz..
After cca i gotta carry the entire lego set home, while yufeng gotta carry the laptop home..haiz
Tt guy went for lunch wif the girl..ate for so longggg..haiz...when cca finishes, the guy came to fetch the girl...no wanting to disturb them i gotta walk faster...but the train was slow so met them at the station platform....the guy alighted at tamp, though he lives in pasir ris...he didnt admit anyting, juz saying tt he take bus 81 home..but i can see he wants to be wif the girl la..I walked faster than them and when i reach my bus queue they were nowhere to be seen..
At home i spent a few gd hours trying to modify the design of the robot..and spent too much time on it and thus, no time to do hw..haiz..at night, did sumting which i dreaded most..calling my juniors who did not come todae to come tml...haiz...of course it wasnt vv successful..piano lesson, sick, camp got sumting on etc..y cant they juz say they dunwan to come?
I haf come to a point where i cant bring myself to scold my frens..haiz..on the train the girl asked me whether she can dun come tml...then 1 fren came to sch, didnt see us then went home..when i asked, he say he didnt bring his hp..oso got 2 guys who came to sch almost an hour late, did nth, stayed for a little while then went off..tot tt i should be more firm wif them, but seeing tt they are my frens, haiz juz couldnt scold them..for now i oso dunnoe wat to do wif them..
So tml still gotta go sch for cca...this time is do the cca banner..haiz..hope can finish everyting by tml..
i cant wait for the handover..

Todae the big thing tt happened was vin's performance at whitesands..his music sch was there to perform for little children, which is an event organised by mcdonalds(I'm lovin' it!)...brought the [ac]² camera along so i could took photos of vin playing his organ(solo lehx)..while waiting for xy at the mrt station one girl came up to me ask me buy charity ticket..i nowhere to run so no choice had to buy..haiz..then the two of us met willy at whitesands...but it was quite a while b4 vin started playing...a surprise was tt his brother was playing too...oso solo...talk abt brave pple..even had to play hide-and-seek wif vin's parents becos..aiya..4get it...it was abt 6pm when we went home...saw bus 291 got long queue and the bus still not here...saw decided to walk home...walking through the park i sumhow had a feeling tt less pple go to the park liaoz..i rmb when i was young i go to the park to cycle there were alot of pple 1...now..haiz..
juz now open mail saw christmas greetings from xiu yu and yu hui..haha..thks alot..maybe should send christmas greetings for them too...no more trading presents this yr le right?haha...
this wk gonna be busy again..tml(and maybe tues) got cca..tis time its abt the sec1 orientation..haiz..then hw still alot not done..haiz...sumtimes i really feel like killing myself..so can end all this suffering..haiz..its an ongoing process leh..olevels, alevels, ns, uni, work(tink abt it, 9-5 one day, 5 days a wk), dating, married, children(a whole load of trouble), when u get old u get all kinds of sickness..argh..4get it..i'm crapping..
Yesterday's 1st day's research on upgrading computers demoralised me...those pple who could successfully overclocking their computers to much higher speeds are those who haf either modified or added several fans to their comps..i'm abit weak in this area..then oso realised my comps' motherboards cant support processors above 600B..haiz..now i'm in doubt of whether i will be successful or not...
Off to work again..

Hmm...other events tt happened yesterday include a guy who got his frens to wait 4 a girl..when the girl finally moved, he joined her and the both of them got into their own world, throwing his frens behind...haiz..
I oso got a pleasant surprise from shijia..a present she bought from Thailand..like it vv much..thx alot shijia~
Todae had tuition..i had this syndrome whereby i get vv tired be4 and during the tuition, then slowly i get energetic towards the end of the tuition..this has been going on since my first tuition session..oso dunnoe y..haha..but i'm not lazy~
Todae is a really wettttt day...rain for most of the afternoon and even now..but i like this cooling weather..hope it rains all the way until start of sch..becos i dunwan to go to sch in a wet weather..haha..
Haiz...three more taxi companies are coming up...wif one more still waiting...they contribute to a total of abt 200 taxis...more taxis is a gd thing to the commuters, but a bad ting for taxi-drivers, like my father...haiz..maybe i should saving up more money~
Tot of devoting this last wk to completing my hw and learn 3ds max and do housewk...but its already disrupted becos there's last min cca on mon and tues..haiz...so now no choice but to be more busy~
Starting my first step towards upgrading my pc by looking at some prices..haha..hopefully they will be cheap enuff for me to buy~

Todae was a rather busy day..first went to sch to do ss proj..reach sch le, called jin lai at his house then he say he had to go out cannot come...so since the board is wif him, we couldnt do anyting so we did other stuff 1st..ended with me rf and yuhui playing the cards tt we haf created..haha..then went home to bathe, eat dinner, watch a bit of tv b4 going to sch(again) to watch the band concert..turned up late meeting xy her sis and sj, cos the bus stopped at every traffic light..haiz..
the band concert was gd..interesting~ i enjoyed myself..haha...

I haf decided.I will wait till end of nxt yr or 2005 then buy new com...cos i read prescott and DDR2 coming out nxt yr..together wif a couple of new technologies...so i shall wait..
But i am not going to sit back and shake leg..i am going to try, for the 1st time, overclocking my com.i am going to push my coms to the limit..no matter wat i am going to make my com able to run Generals..its said to be last of the C&C series..so i wun miss it..haha..call me foolish..

Feldman got a new com..haiz..so xian mu him...a p4 3.02G(haiz), Radeon 9800 128MB(HAIZ), 1GB of RAM(HHAAIIZZ!!)...its a powerhouse lor..haiz..too bad i no money cant buy..dunnoe if i should buy a p4 next yr or wait till prescott comes out..hmm...
Saw an interesting thing...was looking out of the window at abt midnite, then saw two females opp my house waiting for taxi..they flag down a taxi, open the door and talked to the driver, but in the end they did not board the taxi and it went off..the deal is tt,during the half-an-hour i observed them,they repeated this with 17 taxis!i was wondering wat they were doing...came up wif 3 theories..first is tt they wanna go a place where taxi-drivers dunwan to go(eg cremetery?), 2nd they want go sumwhere but no money...3rd they were looking for sumting...it remained unanswered..

Now tt Changi Airport is considering to build a terminal 4 budget carriers...i tink budget carriers are going to be the next-big-thing...its a gd thing..esp for pple like me who haf nv been in an aeroplane b4..haha..

Argh....tml's our cca sec4 farewell party..then still a lot not done yet...haiz...dunnoe will it be successful or not..but considering who the leader of my cca is, it is vv hard 4 it to be successful...haiz..i'm praying hard though..tink i should haf rejected the post in the 1st place...in the 1st place when i came into AHS i only tot of learning computer stuff...I HAF NV TOT TT I WOULD BE PLANNING A PARTY TODAE...haiz...perhaps choosing [AC]² is a wrong choice...should haf juz pick photographic society or ncc...arghz..wish me luck pple~

Here's Part 2 of my holidays...on a particular wed i went to play soccer with my pri sch friends..only a few of us, but okay le la....really enjoyed the game...zhi heng came later and made us shocked...cos he improved a lot since pri sch days~ he kicked one right into my face and kaoz...so pain..i oso deflected one of bryan's ball wif my knees and it became red after quite a while after tt..then had lunch together b4 going home..after tt there was a few cca sessions and so on...
this wk was the busiest wk i had.The biggest event was of course a course on journalism at SPH..it was a 3-day course and everyday it was 9-5..but the course itself was fun..1st day we met Mr Peter Khoo, Head, Editorial Projects and Branding, English and Malay Newspaper Devision.He was one funny guy...talk abt his experience with The Straits Times...then later met Ms Berita Henson, editor of The Straits Times Home Section, Ms Sandra Davie, a journalist with the Education section..Afternoon saw the Acting Minister for Education, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam..got press conference then we supposed to do a report...then got tt tv camera there...luckily i didnt appear on tv..haha....end of 1st day..
second day we got Ms Sumiko Tan, Editor of Life, Mr Terence Tan(handsome guy), a photographer to talk to us...we ended the day with a tour around the newspaper...we even went into the studio where the channel i pple report news leH~ oso saw the male news presenter of channel i..4got the name..and oso Steve Dawson, the sports correspondant for channel i..all friendly pple..
Third day was the best.We went on a tour to the SPH Print Centre where we saw the newspper being printed..it was so fast leh..can go up to 80000 newspper an hour~ there we saw the xin ming ri bao being printed..it was only the testing stage and they were already printing abt 28000 copies an hour leh!wat a waste...but since all the pper goes into recycling then nvm la..after the tour we went to Jurong Bird Park...they got new enclosure which is going to open nxt yr and we have to do a report on it...it went on the news on sat..
So i haf learnt a lot abt journalism..in e end i even had an interest in photography..haha..going to buy a camera and printer nxt yr...haha
the course ended on thurs..at 1st tot fri can rest at home..then there comes a class outing...went to cathay cineleisure...turn out only 7 pple came..haha..watched Brother Bear..nice show..vv touching..but abit too short..ended the day walking around the Heerens..had some neoprints too...
KKz..tt's all i did so far during the hols...activities coming up include our cca sec4 farewell party, and LOTR movie..of course hw..haiz..

I shall start off without designing first...cos i kinda lazy to do it...haha...shall i start with wat i haf done so far during the hols?there's quite a lot..so i split it to part 1 and 2 k??
Part 1...first of all was our class chalet..tt was fun~ on the 1st day we guys played soccer then we kicked it deep into the drain..being cai zi we refused to ask 4 help..haha..in the end we did get it out by pouring water into then drain...so the ball comes out of the other end...felt a great sense of achievement..haha..for dinner we ate fried rice cooked by the girls..haha..pleasantly surprised.The second day was our bbq....while the girls bbq we boys sat at the tv waiting for the food...of course we were scolded by miss wong...so in the end we helped out too...but we did the cleaning up..haha..after the bbq we played hide-and-seek...again we cai zi used our genius and we were the last to be found...1st time we hid in the bushes while second time we hid at the rooftop..haha...overall the chalet rocks~
On the 19th some of us went to VJC for a 3-day course on life-sciences...specifically on cancer...haiz...it started off with our sch being late becos we were told the wrong time...abit diu lian..but the course was vv informative...learnt abt dna...cancer and all those stuff..we oso had an assignment...it was abt a family where the father, the aunt and one child had cancer, then we had to find out which of the other two children had a higher chance of getting cancer...so i went home with new knowledge..haha..
I shall stop here....todae there's nth to blog abt..basically i stayed at home and did some cleaning up..i will continue with Part 2 tml(hopefully)..have some work to do now..bye and have a nice day~
