Haha i was reading vjc's forums and there is this thread where they discussed what one can do while travelling in the MRT.
I particularly like this person's suggestion:
Close ur eyes and go to sleep. Or try to outstare the guy with the bushy moustache sitting opposite you. If he looks away first, stand up point at him and shout, "LOSER!!!"

Hello world.
Today is a very quiet day...was rotting at home..not many people online to chat with too.
My mother keeps asking me to study for my re-papers..but aiya i sianx la.
LAtely the newspapers forum is hot over a man.
This man, an Australian, was transitting through Singapore when he suay suay tio caught by our customs. Then he suay suay had some 400g of heroin strapped to his body. And suay suay our laws say its death penalty for >= 15g of heroin.
So he suay suay tio death penalty lor.
Apparently, the Australians felt that death penalty is capital punishment that belonged to Third World countries. Thus they are protesting over the death sentence and even called on everyone to boycott Singapore's products and services.
All the letters into the forums are making me confused. One says all Australians are against the death sentence. Another says all Australians support the death sentence. Hmm..dunno which is true.
Well, this issue is rather political., so i not going to comment too much la hor...but i guess u all smart people hor, should know my stand la!
Maybe i will just add a statement here...i personally think that each and every country has its own laws...so..since a person is stepping on a particular country's soil, he should respect the country's laws. Right?
Guess that's all for now.

Hello world.
Haix competition is getting tougher and tougher....i'm collapsing...i'm dying.....i don't know how long more can i hold on....
The shophouses opposite my house is undergoing some improvement works..and i'm surprised to find that they removed all the grass patches and filling up with bricks.
I wonder if its a good thing......
The scenery is so beautiful today...
Countdown...less than 3 hours!

Hmm...my friends are going on a dangerous swat mission tonight...much more dangerous than the one i personally went for the last time..cos this is at night and the place is rather open to "sniping".
Haha. Sad i can't go. Hope there will be more of such missions the next time so i can go.
Meanwhile, good luck to them. Hope they will achieve all the objectives without any loss of lives.
Haix, this holidays many of my peers are working...at toy r us la, at sitex la, or have job or research attachments...at Mindef la, at IHPC la...
And i got nothing!
Feels like a slacker. Haix.

Hello world.
Spent the whole day at ngee ann poly..went there for robocode competition.
Haix tio thrashed by an ITE team..which went on to be champion.
On my way home, i had a rare oppuntunity to be in the same MRT carriage as 4 young kids, and after this experience i should say that its not easy bringing 4 young hyperactive kids into the MRT. Haha.
Damn tired now...blog another day.

It sure is a cold day...rained the entire day.
Actuallly i quite like these kind of rainy days...Little bit of drizzle but small enough to walk in the open without an unbrella. Then I won't sweat while walking around, and little human traffic also.
Do any of you read the Lian He Zao Bao ZBNow section? On the TV listings page there is a small column where people can call in to talk about media stuff. Usually they will complain about how our only TV company sucks etc etc.
I find their comments very amusing. Let's just take today as an example. Back then when the two TV companies first merged, viewers complain that they were not enough shows and dramas to keep the people entertained.
Now, one guy is complaining that the 2 channels are showing too many dramas! They don't know what to watch!
Then there is a comment that our newscaster cannot speak very fluently..said she stammers alot because she repeats alot of stuff. Then the person went on to say that actually some of the words already appear on tv, so needless for the newscaster to repeat whatever's on the screen.
So...those humans without an integrated graphics card do not need to watch news liaox lor..
Lastly, when these people call in to make their comments, they like to generalise by saying "Parents don't like to....", "Viewers want to see....", "Listeners.....".
Somehow they assume when they think a particular way, the whole world thinks the same way as them.
Of course i make the same mistakes sometimes too. I'm human.
Haix talk so much cock.

This morning is a cool rainy morning...a morning perfect for sleeping...but why am i here?
I was awake since 8+am...thanks to my father and mother. Shan't go into too much details.
Anyway, because of my 300th post and my blog bday thingy i didnt blog about last sat..haha..so backtrack ah..
Last sat i went to watch harry potter with a couple of friends..went to suntec to watch (for obvious reasons haha).
Harry Potter movies are getting more and more summarised...all the minor details are gone as the movie struggles to squeeze in all the major details....in fact there was only one scene of them having lessons!
And the big bully (malfort..?) only had one line to say throughout the entire movie.....
In all, a tad disappointing...but still a good movie. Haha i was telling my friends that for the next few movies they should spread one book out over several movies...say Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoneix : Part 1. This way they can satisfy the fans and earn alot of money at the same time. Haha crap.
After lunch went to camp inside WCG 2005. The competitors' arena looked like one underground illegal computer hacking centre of some sorts with the 100++ comps and the dim lights. Yet the main stage looked like a concert by some superstar.
I managed to catch the finals of the Dead or Alive Ultimate between the Singaporean guy and the Japanese guy. I won't say its a close fight, simply because the Singaporean guy was thrashed by the Japanese guy.=X The 2nd round when the singapore guy won, hmm i should say it was by sheer luck.
Of course, i'm not saying he suck. Its not easy to go through all the rounds of SCG then all the rounds of WCG. Kudos to him!
When will it be G**'s turn?
Soon after i realised the singapore cs:source Team Titans lost to Canada's Team_EG. Abit surprised, because i thought the singapore team very good. And the Canada's team was playing a quarter final match against Australia on the main stage...so i decided to stay and watch.
Well the Canadian team was strong after all...defeated the Australian team quite easily. In the end they went all the way to a bronze medal.
Big big surprise was Kazakhstan. Training only for 6 months using dial-up connection they actually got 2nd in cs: source. Cool man..
Wonder if i can take part next time...hmm..
By the way, that dead or alive world no 2 singaporean guy is my brother's friend in army...saw him on my bro's army photo. What a small world.
Xbox 360 debuts today! In the US i mean.. Singapore won't be so lucky to get it on the same day as US...well no impact on me also...i don't have the money haha.
This is my 3rd day using broadband..i should say i'm still not too used to just logging out of msn and not needing to disconnect any dialer. And the speed..haha last time if i clicked a wrong link i can quickly click the correct one before the wrong page loads...now cannot liaox haha.

Hello World.
Today is the 20th Nov. I typed out this post here. Why is today and this post so special? Because:
1) It is my blog's 2 yr old birthday!
(I never celebrated its 1 yr old birthday TT)
2) This is my 300th post!
(I never celebrated its 100th and 200th posts TT)
3) I got a new blog template! (Actually not exactly new, modified an old one)
4) I GOT BROADBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
5) I'm going to get a new handphone!
(wanted to surprise you all..but some smart fellow guessed it too quickly..haha nvm)
I'll explain one by one...
Yup, today marks the start of my third year of blogging, ever since the 'testing testing' 2 yrs ago which i did after the exams. Reading through my previous entries i thought i have matured (abit), less details, more straight to the point entries.
And i have typed so much crap that this is my 300th entry liaox. I have yakked about so much stuff before..from exams to chalets to politics to current affairs to my friends. There were happy, sad and angry stuff..haha..all my memories.
I decided to change my blogskin..the AHS background stresses the eye out..so went back to my original blog template. (Haha it isn often i change my background)
I spent a few smses on my three good friends asking for a 4-letter, non-vulgar, impactful, meaningful word.
Why 4 letters? Because its not too many, not too little, gang gang hao.
They gave very good words, some too good to be be placed here haha.
Anyway i settled for noob..haha. Don't worry, i'm not scolding you all. Haha.
And the four-letter word will change from time to time.
And the most exciting of all...i got broadband!!!
Muahaha so happy. People always thought of me as a geeky person, but actually i always lag behind everyone in terms of ownership of the lastest technologies.
When peers had handphones, i could only play their handphones.
When peers had colour screen handphones, i had to deceive myself that my monochrome screen phone battery could last longer than theirs.
And when peers were playing maplestory i was having problems loading msn messenger games.
And while peers enjoy the lastest computer games in the comfort of their own homes, i can only occasionally touch them when they ask me out for lan sessions.
But then again, perhaps all those experiences taught me to be patient and tolerant..and of course, to be zhi zu.
Btw i'm using starhub now...i don't care if its dynamic IP or static...i'm happy i have one. =D
Last, but definitely not the least, and actually not confirmed, my father ask me if i want to change my handphone. With 3 buttons half-spoilt and a battery half gone, i guess i would like a new one. =D
But if i really change i will only get those dirt-cheap-less-than-$100 types.
I will be happy to settle for anything new. Hope it comes true. =D
So what are you all waiting for? Congratulate me and my blog la...and i dun mind presents =p

Hello World. I'm back =D
For the last few days i went to class chalet, tts y nvr blog.
Last night wanted to blog, but reinstalled comp, so couldnt.
So tues morning went to sch for maths lecture and tutorial.
At first thot i will go chalet with class after that; turned out many had their own activities and they will only go in evening time...so haix, might as well don't go.
Wed afternoon went to suntec...there was this clean and green week schools' carnival and vjc robotics had a booth..so i had to man the booth as the afternoon shift.
Item on display was an automatic air-con switch..which won first prize and most innovative award. Haha.
It even went up on tv leh!
Finally went to chalet after that...at aranda country club beside downtown east.
Stayed overnight there...last till abt 2am b4 deciding that i need some sleep.
All the "horizontal platforms" were taken so poor me had to sleep on an armchair (the only person to do that haix).
Managed a 4 hr sleep haha.
Why did i camp overnight? SImply becos the following day, thurs morning, had to go to school for NOI training..
The 3 hour test burnt my mind out and i was dead tired after that. Went home to bathe and catch a nap bfore going back to chalet for the bbq.
The 4-hour-sleep on an armchair proved fatal to me.
I slept well past 5.30pm and all the way till 7.30pm.
According to my mum she tried to wake me up twice and i even got up once to check my sms.
Strangely i had no recollection of that.
So rushed all the way down..luckily still not too late.
WEnt home at 11plus....i set off too late and the mrt all long gone liaox.
Fortunately there was bus 3. Otherwise i have to take taxi liaox. Ha.
That marks the end of the class chalet.
AS i announced my departure for home, my friend wondered when he will see me again.
Hmm...i have nothing for them to see...besides the earth will continue to spin with or without me.
Three things i learnt this week:
1) Sleeping on a bed is VERY IMPORTANT!
2) One should pick up some game cheats so can show off during chalet =p
3) Always buy your own food instead of getting others to buy. YOu may get them into trouble.

Hello.
Wah sianx....the 7th member have joined the computing olympaid team..a F maths china scholar who is bloody strong.
First day only and is scaring me with some chim maths formula to describe some recursive function.
And I was right about that IP guy.
THEY ARE DANGEROUS!
Anyway that aside, my phone became godly last week.
I have said before that my phone battery has spoilt and it could not last more than 24 hours.
Last week it lasted 48 hours without any drop of bar!
Then in a matter of 8 hours it dropped 2 bars.
Either the battery indicator is faulty, or my phone got prossessed.
(Or it simply means that people dont come and find me =( )
I watched the police and thief crime prevention special (yesterday?).
I quite like the show..while i applaud these innovative moves to get those crime prevention messages into our heads, i thought there was too much crime in the show.
Haha one small neighbourhood and everyone get robbed and burglar-ed everyday.
So i'm going for my class chalet over the next few days. Replying to G**, it startes today at 6pm, but i'm only going tml after my maths make up lecture.
It stretches all the way to fri (i may not go until then).
However if anyone happens to be in suntec this wed afternoon, most probably u will catch me there. Haix had to go and man some stupid booth.

Hello.
Yesterday morning went down to changi airport with some friends to catch the arrival of the A380. Haha.
Well i was slightly disppointed because the A380 was not as big as what i expected. Turned out its just tall, but not big.
But the engines were damn big though..bigger then usual...later at night i heard from news that the combined power of the 4 engines is about 3500 cars and they can reach half the temperature of the sun.
Still, the plane looked nice..all the curves are there =P
After that went to watch tom yum goong with my friend.
Wah lao the show was full of him twisting and breaking arms and legs..abit gross in my opinion.
Plus all the loud cracking sound effects...=X
I'm quite amused by his efforts to go out all the way just to save 2 elephants. Maybe its their custom ba.
Of course, there is the underlying message that we should care for our environment.
And not to buy pirated dvds. Haha.
Went to the library to borrow books. But haix, owed them too much money, cannot borrow liaox.
These days i'm trying to get Linux in my comp...not a very easy job since i'm new to it.
Hopefully it won't disappoint me..if its good i may just convert to linux =D
Sianx cant think of anything else to blog le. Guess that's all for now.

Hello World.
OP is over!
PW is over!
JC1 is over!
After my OP we stayed back to complete our gpf...our ST (cum CT) said he dunwan us to go back to school tml.
After handing in the gpf each of us got a pw feedback form to fill in..haha
(Not the exact same words, but similar meaning la)
Q1: Will you want to do project with your group again?
Q2: From 1 to 5, with 1 as contributing the most and 5 the least, rank the members of your group (including yourself) according to how much they have contributed to your group's project.
Q3 was giving constructive feedback about pw.
Haha.
After handing in the pw feedback form we got another piece of paper to write on: Our holistic report.
Haha basically it is a report on our non-academic stuff...like integrity, attendance, conduct, drive to success, outlook of life.
Yay my integrity, attendance, conduct and punctualiy got excellent leh =D
Actually while i think i (should) have basic personal integrity, i wonder if i should get excellent for it because if i see my friend cheat in test ah, i'm not sure if i will report haha.
Outlook for life i got "neutral", drive to success i got "Only responds to opportunties that appears"...the rest i forgot le.
Haha generally i agree with what i got la..of cos i will try to improve la (in case my CT reads this =P)
Then I was supposed to write any other strengths that I have that makes me special...but i couldnt come up with any haha.
Do you know how scary it is to receive a sms from your CT and the first statement is: "It is my duty 2 threaten u."
OP is over!

Hello World.
I'm in school now (again)...tying up loose ends for op..
It seems like the Paris riots are getting worse and worse...is spreading to other cities and copycat attacks are appearing in Germany.
Hmm...didnt our Singapore Government say we, the young generation, are not sensitive towards racial issues since we did not went through the 1963 racial riots?
Perhaps they should charter planes and fly the young Singapore generation to Paris to experience the riots over that so that we can be more aware of how important it is to have racial harmony. Haha.
Lately i watched some shows which kept talking about life and death. First was the movie 2002 on channel U on sunday night, then was last night's drama 同心圆2.
I think its quite sad if someone knows that he are going to die soon. Sometimes i will imagine that I know I will die in a few weeks time. The feeling isnt good you know...I havent achieve much in my life and suddenly i realised i have only a few weeks to live. Such a short time, what can I do?
So I will think what I can do within such a short time. Sit there and wait for death to come to me? Gather all my friends and have a big party together? Or do something I had always wanted to but had no courage to? Or do something I had always wanted to but had no chance/money to?
Seriously I don't know haha.
One pretty interesting statement i heard one guy in the 同心圆2 drama say was: The purpose of life is to await death. We humans can achieve great achievements, but we still cant escape death.
If he say until like that then why do we humans still need to do so much research etc etc etc?
Don't bother replying...i'm just talking crap.
What the hell la...my CT actually ganged up with the class to take a photo of me during OP rehearsal..$%^&(%!(*$*#@)^)@#!!!!!

Hello.
Haiya...come to blogger but dont know what to blog...now everyday op..nothing special also...but i gotta fill up 6 more posts before 20th nov.
Frankly speaking i thought this year's singapore hits awards abit pathetic.
Our local stars came alright, but the foreign stars only that same few people came.
At first heard them say mayday coming, i was like wah...in the end only the lead singer came.
And all the surprise is gone when you know that which foreign stars are coming...because they are bound to take something home.
No choice la...singapore market too small liaox..can only export cannot import.
Lately i'm getting hooked to super bomberman, super mario, power rangers, street fighters etc haha...thanks to a friend who introduced a super nintendo emulator..quite fun though, no brainer games that will not stress my eyes(and the graphics card) out with those beautiful graphics.
Past week the weather had been very unpredictable.
One day rain so heavily the sch is threatening to collaspe, one day sun so hot that its melting weather.
But the rain has cleared up the skies..its not often i get to see such a clear and beautiful sky.
Hmm..all random stuff.

DRAGOSTEA DIN TEI
Ma-ia-hii
Ma-ia-huu
Ma-ia-hoo
Ma-ia-haha
Alo, Salut, sunt eu, un haiduc,
Si te rog, iubirea mea, primeste fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt eu Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.
Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.
Te sun, sa-ti spun, ce simt acum,
Alo, iubirea mea, sunt eu, fericirea.
Alo, alo, sunt iarasi eu, Picasso,
Ti-am dat beep, si sunt voinic,
Dar sa stii nu-ti cer nimic.

PW OP Season
By Reporter S
It is the Project Work-Oral Presentation season and students in junior colleges all over Singapore are busy preparing for it.
Over at Victoria JC, it is a hive of activity at the V-Block as students are jamming V2X (where X is bigger than 2 and smaller than 9)
Laptops, usually unseen of in college, are a common sight now.
Rich students who cannot find a place in the comp labs are stationing themselves in the canteen and concourse.
Not-so-rich students have borrowed all the school laptops that the technicians have to paste "No notebooks/laptops until furthur notice" on their door.
A count by the reporter on one fine day returned at least 10 laptops in the canteen, making the academic institution look like some high-tech farm.
Even the V26 computer lab, built specially for the college's IT club, Icomp, is also hosting non-icomp students as some groups are creating videos for the extra five minutes of "visual aid".
(The reporter hopes that the readers will understand that he is also preparing for OP and thus have not much time to blog. Sorry!)
Btw....this is an example of the powerful-ness of CGI nowadays: http://www.disney.it/Film/movies/chickenlittle/
