Vv busy recently...tchers are giving us all the tests and extra lessons at the eleventh hour to make sure we knew everything..haha..
Hmm...prelims coming and i'm still here...err......haha..
Anyway..thurs was my prelim bio prac...its total mess man...the experiment was alright, but the answering of the questions wasnt....The last one esp lor...i cant see any similarities and diff between the carrot and onion..and i failed my benedicts test...argh...must get all these right b4 the o's..haix..
Next week is a vvv short week...only mon got lesson...tues celebrate teachers day, wed is teachers day, thurs prelim chem prac*argh* and fri is prelim paper 1*ARGH*..

Studies aside....Olympics!SO sad..its coming to an end....Singapore as usual got nth..so no choice lor..wait for the beijing 2008 one lor..haha..

What a pity man...we lost!(All singaporeans will noe what i'm talking abt..)
THis time its realllllly a near miss leh....we were leading 3-1, then lost 2 sets to draw 3-3..last match..haix...lost by only 2 pts...really a tight match sia....
NVm...as i haf said 4 yrs later fight again la..haha...
HEY! NOt 4 yrs....tml still got chance to win a bronze leh!Although..aiya..the difference between gold and bronze is very great but nvm...its still enuff to make singaporeans proud!So Jia YOu la!
So todae the running events has started..i expect the US to dominate all the track events and eventually, get the most number of golds again...
Well...tt dot is trying to be humble...he really got 73/80 for the most difficult chem test in the world and he's the top in level...
As i put up the new heading i am offically challenging the dot to get tt off =P
But, as i'm a peace-loving person, i hope tt there will be no conflicts...so...Y not just leave it there? =D

ONe week passed again...YaWnZ..
THis week again a happening week....esp Olympics...saw ronald susilo went into quarter finals then lost, then saw li jia wei went into semi finals.....Now the entire Singapore is watching her closely...she has a 75% chance of winning a medal, so hope she doesnt fall into tt 25%..haha...
WHile i support Ronald, i oso quite like tt Boonsak..haha...quite good looking and vv calm on the court..
NVm....4 yrs later fight again la!haha..
Hmm...the purpose of Olympics is to promote peace among countries right?But lately there is this case of Iranian refusing a match with a Israeli becos Iran supports Palestine...
This seems to defeat the purpose of Olympics isnt it?If so y spend so much money to organise this in the first place?Y not spend the money to help the poor pple who have nth to eat?

As for me, its still a week of tests...emaths chem amaths..the 2 maths still alright..but chem was shit..made so many mistakes....
Tcher even gave us ri chem common test to do lor....got a passing mark only...unlike tt dot in the tagboard who got 73/80 and top in level...haix..
Haix...nxt week is yet another horrendous...a record: every day oso test..

Wah..this week my geog tcher showed us alot of videos as part of revision...i esp liked the part on ecotourism...they introduced the Gunung Mulu National park..so beautiful leh...
Oso focused alot on Thailand...equally nice...
One day i must visit all these places..haha...

After bio test went play soccer at fren hse b4 going home..then tuition then slack lor..quite boring la...haha...
Hey...the greece stadium tt hosted the opening ceremony vv nice hor?wonder if our new stadium will be as nice as theirs?
Then their fireworks oso vv nice leh...MUCH nicer than ours....although lasted only a short time, but it was...WOW...
Haix..only first day of olympics already got bad news le...our badminton and swimming already got 2 players out liaoz...haiz...hope the rest can jia you la!

This week is a busy week for Singapore...Monday She celebrated her 39th birthday, then todae was her government's handover ceremony....the entire week so re nao...
As i had said this yr's national day vv happening....my guess is tt our economy is recovering so every1 in the mood of celebrating..haha...The parade rox!
But there was this poor flag bearer who made a mistake and everyone saw it..haha...nvm we noe it wasnt on purpose..hhahaa
Then the fireworks oso vv nice leh...got all the new patterns...
This week is oso the handover ceremony of our government.. PM Goh stepped down and PM Lee took over him..just had the ceremony at the Istana...
Listening to his speech i guess we will be seeing big changes under his leadership...He is different from PM Goh....
Said tt we should diversify our views, be unconventional and different etc etc...i guess he wants to make singaporeans more independant?
ANyway after listening to his speech i am now rather excited abt the future..haha...
IT was a busy week for me too...although its short but tests are still there....5 tests this week...haiz....had four during these 2 days, none tml and a bio on sat...HAiX.....
Hey..i love SIngapore Idol!! Haha...so entertaining...luv tt banana man esp..so cute....dunno where he got tt mask from...i feel like getting one too...haha...
I tink we should not compare Singapore Idol with the American Idol....they haf their own styles while we haf our own styles...y not just sit back and relax?haha...
Hmm...Olympics is going to start! Haha....tml is the opening ceremony...hope SIngapore will create a miracle and do well...Good luck!

Hmm...this yr's national day celebrations vv 'on' hor?everywhere is national day stuff..haha....i see slightly more pple hanging the national day flag..then todae 6.30 news almost all abt national day, then there is this short special on it too...quite a nice one...later oso got PM making national day speech..
He still has tt 'PM' qi zhi when he made tt speech....but i tink not as strong as SM Lee la..haha...
I'm looking forward to this yr's national day parade! A pity i cant go...esp when national stadium is going to be torn down...haiz....nvm..i just watch at home lor.....

Singaporeans are getting arrogant these days..isnt it?
They think they are rich, their country is strong and stable,so they can do anything they like..they look down on pple poorer than them, pple who come from countries poorer than theirs...they scold them, they bully them.....
DON'T THEY EVEN HAF SIMPLE RESPECT FOR INDIVIDUALS?
They aren't just rich pple, they are highly civilised pple...so civilised they are teaching others how to be civilised..yet behind everyone's back they are doing wat only uncivilised pple are doing...
I can't imagine that they are doing this...its so....maddening..
Those pple are poor, they haf to support their family, so they haf no choice but to leave their hometown, go to an alien country, to work or pple they don't noe...its already tiring for them to do all the housework, waking up in the early morning, work till late at night...having to make sure the entire family is well taken care of.They haf to work despite all the homesickness, all the tiredness, all the loneliness...if we cant make their lives better, shouldnt we try NOT to make their lives more difficult?
Yet we haf pple who try to get the most out of them at the least cost possible..and when they are not satisfied wif them, they punish them in the most horrible ways possible..whereby after tt send them back home...leaving them just as poor as when they first came..
Sad to say, its not the commoners doing these, but the highly civilised ones who are doing these..the richest, the most educated..the most well-off...
In fact the commoners are the ones who are compassionate....
Perhaps...education is indeed a double-edged sword.

Yay....tml celebrate national day...no lessons...haha..so happy...
Luckily Singapore was separated from Malaysia in August...even she became independant in June on December then the holiday wasted liaoz..haha..
I may be blogging lesser soon...maybe even stop temporarily...cos gotta study lor..prelims getting nearer and nearer...prac is end of this month leh!
Todae other schs' prelim papers are streaming into my bag....with more to come....wah..stress..

It's a poor thing seeing kids being deprived of play nowadays huh?Recess leh...such a good time to relax after spending half a day in a tiny little room together wif 40 others breathing in recycled air and doing brain-cell-killing-activities. Schools should not stop kids from playing purely on the basis tt they may injure themselves...Tt's total crap. I believed tt most parents will not hold the school responsible for injuries...besides kids should fall and injure themselves so tt they can 'eat bitter' nxt time...
I still remember my pri sch days when we played like mad during recesses and after school while waiting for the school bus..Tt was so FUN lor!WE played regardless of the weather..whether it hot like mad or cool after the rain(of course we were not stupid to play in a thunderstorm)We played until we forgot all about lessons and schoolwork and the mean-looking tchers...
When recess starts someone will run to the field to 'chop' court...usually vincent or zhi heng haha...or someone go toilet just b4 recess starts then run to the field..We need to chop becos only got 2 courts quite a number of teams..haha...
We use a tennis ball to play soccer...many of us each had one so tt in case one nvr bring, still can play..haha...but in extreme cases where we haf no ball, we simply used deflated bottles..
After sch on weds we usually haf to wait a long time for the bus...me and zhixiang then run to the field play the monkey bars or run around..can see many pple play the zero point or five stones..
In P5 we got to come to sch early for HCL lessons...then b4 lessons started we will play..haha..
IN P6 the tcher(Mrs Janet Lee!haha) came down to the field and forbid us to play...but i tink in the end we still played right?haha...
And oh ya...after the afternoon lessons me zhi xiang and kai wei haf to wait for bus at the bus stop near the rubbish collection point beside the temple there...then we climbed up and down the railings, take sticks throw here throw there and ran around..haha..and all those crap...
PLaying really relaxes a kid after a day of stress at school...kids able to strike a balance between the two are the ones able to work most effectively...so schools should let kids play!
