I wonder why i am getting so worked up over this new yr...just scanned my previous entries i realised i didnt even post an entry on new yr last yr...maybe, as i said in my last entry,it means the end of an impt stage of my life, and the start of another impt stage...or maybe its becos of the way 2004 is being ended.
Its sad the yr 2004 has to end in this way...many innocent lives have been lost by the merciless tsunamis...many of them are just poor fishermen trying to sustain their lives, casual tourists trying to take a break from the stressed environment, or simply ordinary citizens who can't afford a hse in the city. Maybe, as wat my fren said in her blog:
Mother nature has shown us humans tt we are not the ultimate rulers of this planet. The lady's still in charge.
Watever it is, it had happened and we cant reverse time. So wat we can do now is to help the affected pple get over this as soon as possible and oso, while we celebrate the new yr, we should oso rmb tt there are many others who are suffering out there..
Of course, let's hope Man will put in more effort in caring for the envrionment so tt mother nature will not have to punish us again wif another natural disaster or another fast-spreading virus...
At the same time,we cannot forget the wars and fights that are still on-going....whether for ideology, for land, for sovereignty, for survival or watever...lets hope Man will realise the importance of peace and fight for it..
As for the individuals....lets hope in the new yr we can continue to work hard to get wat we want, either for the ambition of becoming watever we want to be(I dream.............), the grades we want, the guys or girls we like, the love we want, the items we want to get hold of....
BUT, we cannot be going after wat we want blindly......while doing so we must make sure we take care of other pple's feelings....we must cherish the pple and things we haf ard us(rmb the tsunami disaster)..dun wait until its gone b4 we start regretting...
Most importantly, the disaster is a reminder to all of us to cherish our lives.....dun meet any setback and tink of suicide....there are so many others out there trying to cling onto their dear lives...we should be grateful tt we are well and alive...so treat our ownselves wif more respect.
Be optimistic towards yr 2005...its a new yr, wif events and activities eagerly awaiting us(good ones i hope)....The yr 2004 has been quite an eventful year for many of us i'm sure...in the 366 days we had our share of ups and downs....no matter wat, leave these ups and downs in our memories and be prepared to accept yr 2005!

Todae, the 31st of Dec, is the last day of the year 2004.
Quite a important date to me, cos this day doesnt just mean the end of a year, but oso the end of an important stage of my life.
Secondary Education.
Yup....my 4 years of secondary sch education in Anglican High will officially end todae....
So wat haf i achieved during my secondary sch yrs?Well i got to know 3 good frens who share the same interests as me(now we share more than just interest haha)...i got to gain a little knowledge in computers, learn alot of new stuff thru studying..............................................................
Well...cant rmb anything else le..haha..maybe tt's all i achieved during the 4 yrs..Haix....should i say i wasted them off?haix..looking back i felt my sec sch life is so empty...haix.....
After todae, a new yr will come.....and i will be going off to the next stage of my education...junior college....i'm approaching it wif a nervous yet forward-looking attitude...nervous cos i quite shy..haha...forward looking cos its a new environment..
Next..what haf i learnt during my 4 yrs?i dun mean from txtbks..but others...
I learnt abit of computer stuff..ABIT...abit means a little, a little means not much..meaning i haf vv little knowledge on computers...however many pple kept tinking i vv good at computers...no matter how hard i try to explain they oso wun believe...but the truth is tt compared to those kids out there i know too little things liaox...at such a young age they can do alot which i cant do liaox......
Next...skills at handling pple....i tink i didnt learn a thing abt it...after 4 yrs i still dunno how to handle pple...when pple get angry or sad i will be at a loss of wat to do..even when pple scold me i oso dunno how to react!I always diam diam leep quiet or i just gif in to watever they want me to do..
Third....leadership skills....i totally suck at it...dun come and argue wif me.
Erm..cant tink of anything else le...
Actually i tink i haf double personalities....i can be quiet, expressionless, introvert...or i can be cheerful, talkative, extrovert...it depends though...when i'm tired, or the pple ard me are quiet, or when i'm wif strangers..i'm usually quiet....while if i'm vv jing shen, or the pple ard me vv cheerful, or when i'm wif gd frens..i can open up better....
Dunno leh....keep feeling my life really vv empty...like lacking sumthing liddat....tink i'm lacking excitement in my life..haha...well i hope i can do some exciting stuff in the new yr la...maybe i need to learn how to open up more..haha...

Sorry ah....few days nvr blog liaox....mon and tues went to class chalet..then todae went out wif frens...
Mon and tues went for 4J class chalet...at this vvvvvv ulu place in aloha changi...so ulu there are no facilities nearby..first day reached at abt 3 plus...settled down liaox then decided to play soccer....nearby us there is this soccer field where a few kids were playing...we tot it was an open field so we went to play...
This is where we first met this bunch of 'SIA kids'.This bunch of kids...on seeing us..came to us and say: U need SIA pass to come in. Are u pilots?If not cannot come in.
Wah...so damn xiao zhang....those kids only abt pri 1 pri2 only lor...but they so rude lor....no respect for us at all.
Then we insisted on playing...so they went off to get their fathers to come...their fathers are better...no airs...after some talking we decided to play together wif those kids...
Those kids would shout 'Child Abuse!' whenever we kicked near to their goalpost. -.-
After soccer we went back to start our bbq...those kids came to our chalet again(theirs beside us only) Because of the strong wind we had difficulty starting the fire...when they saw us they say: Hey u noe how to start fire one or not?
Very rude right?So wat if their fathers are pliots?vv big meh?so wat if u all are rich? vv big meh?

Tt night went home in fren's car.
Second day met up wif frens to haf breakfast b4 going down to chalet....spent the time listening to music..play cards etc...lunch went down to changi village to eat lunch...then a few of us went down to changi beach to pick seashells...haha...i got one very nice seashell...its a full shell..haha...only pity the surface is dull.
At night we had steamboat for dinner...quite nice la..haha....after dinner we walked ard the place for a while b4 going home..
Err...maybe it seems quite sianx to u all...actually quite true oso cos tt place really too ulu to do much stuff...but its not the activities tt matters...its the pple i was wif....haha.
Anyway..todae went out wif frens...lunch then movie then arcade then walk abt..went to esplanade library and roof terrace...then down to merlion at the sg river...b4 ending in the form of dinner at eunos...
Well...this is one of the last few chances we get to get together b4 we go to diff JCs nxt yr....haix...

Todae went out wif my mother....accompanied her to hdb hub....cos she dunno how to go there mah...go there do wat leh?my parents finished paying the instalments of the flats..so todae gotta go down to collect some stuff....

Took bus 8 to toa payoh...a mistake cos the bus trip was too long a journey.....reached there le waited for my father..then went on to finish the stuff....
U noe how long the whole process took?A mere 5 mins.....just collect a queue num, wait, sign some stuff, then collect and can go liaox..Wat the heck lor...spend one hour travelling there and another hour home....just to collect a few pieces of papers...
I tink they should be these kind of simple things easier to accompanish...for eg we can get those papers done at the branch office instead of going all the way to the hub......my mother came home wif headache lor...then she had to rest for a long time..haix...
Yesterday's papers had an article abt a woman who was going to die then started a blog to communicate wif her family members and frens after she was too weak to speak....i find the blog entries vv beautifully writtern and i admire her courage to face death bravely....

I had sim city 3000 a few yrs back...tt time play until one day it suddenly hand at the loading screen and refused to budge..so i tot cd spoil liaox..so throw at a corner...
THen 2 days ago my bro went to test it out...surprisely it can work..haha...so start playing again lor..

Without music...sucide rates will be vvvvvvv high every single day, cos in such a fast-paced society like singapore, there is no music to calm our nerves...so after prolonged stress we will jump. Without music....Earth wun be Earth liaox..haha..

Tues nvr blog cos was my sch's grad nite.
Yesterday nvr blog cos i got problems signing in...
Grad nite was ok....quite good la...though i tink not worth $80..haha...
The food was alright..quite nice..
The programme was quite ok too.....the guess-the-celebrity game was interesting..then the prom king prom queen thingy was quite fun too..
Great choice of music..the speakers were powerful too....strong bass and treble....though sad tt its not surround....so the sound only coming out from the front..
THe service was excellent..the waitress actually put the food into every single plate and bowl and placed them in front of us....sumthing even wedding dinners dont haf..haha....feel honoured leh...
After the grad nite ended there was this disco dancing segment for us...at this dancing segment i realised are generally 4 types of pple in us.
First type: Pple wif strict parents. THey haf to get home as early as possible so they disappeared immediately after the grad nite ended. Didnt stay for the dancing cos too late laiox.
Second type: Pple who also didnt stay after the dancing cos they find such stuff too sianz...so they went home to sleep
Third type:Pple who dun like dancing but dunwan to go home too..haha...so they stayed behind and slacked ard while watching others dance. I(and my 3 frens) should be in this type.
Fourth type: Extroverts wif bo chap parents....they let their hair down and danced to every tune played.

Yesterday went to Fren's hse...cos another fren was going to leave singapore for shanghai for 2 yrs...so yesterday served as a little gather together b4 the separation..
Wah..the fren's hse was nice sia....so beautiful, so neat, so nice..haix..
WE played tennis, watched movie at pizza and played PS2....quite fun la..
AS for todae, i cleared my room todae....it was halfway done the last time so completed it todae.
I digged up quite alot of interesting stuff....then i put aside a drawer to put all these memorable stuff...which includes my kindergarten progress report, pri sch report bk, sec sch report bk, certificates, class photos, sch yearbks, grad nite tickets etc..haha.....

Respect for Non-Living Things: Part 2
Spectacles.
A thin piece of frame, together wif a pair of lens, is placed in front of the eyes, held by the nose and the ears. It is a must for anyone wif severe deficiency in the eyes, whether issit short-sightedness, long-sightedness etc. Spectacles allow these pple to see clearly again, so that they wun walk into lamp posts, kick the leg instead of the ball, or see the president of singapore as their maids.
Hmm..basically they need spectacles to survive.
TO them, spectacles are their most intimate things after their underwear..haha...they are worn almost 20 hrs a day, to sch, on their journey home, during eating, drinking, studying, watching tv, playing computer...only taken out when one needs to sleep. Sometimes pple even fall asleep with them on.
AS for me, i was diagnosied wif (blinking light in chi, dunno wat u call in eng) in kindergarten..forgot when got myopia, but it was until abt pri2 or 3 b4 i haf to wear spec b4 i can see.Last time pri sch i change spec appox once a yr..stabilised only when i came to secondary sch...
Since i wear spec almost every single min, every single hr, every single day, every single week etc....i will develop feelings for it one ma.....so even though the spec spoil liaox i oso bu she de change one...
Besides i put tape on it then still can use le wat...y spend money...haix..
But apparently my Mum doesnt noe tt....cant blame her oso..she doesnt wear specs.
So back to the topic.Erm...spectacles, like clocks, play an impt role in (cock-eyed) Man.....without spectacles, (cock-eyed) Man will haf problems doing even the simplest tasks everyday....yet they are oso neglected...often physically abused and deprived of care.

Stayed at home to watch the movies i borrowed lor...then started reading the 3ds max book which i borrowed a few days ago.

Todae i realised tt i haf been taking the clock for granted. Everyday, i will look at the clock for a few times every day..for wat? To noe the time la.
But everytime i will just take a glance at the clock, note the time and then proceed to do my own stuff.
Then just now when i woke up from my sleep i looked at the clock, i found out the clock had stopped. The sky was abit dark then my surroundings was quiet.
Suddenly i felt lost.
It was when i went to switch on the tv(it was showing 6.30 news) then i roughly noe the time. Grabbed the hp and see, then noe the exact time..
The main pt is the feeling of being lost when u dunno the time..abit scary sia..wat if one day all the clocks ard the world stop?
Haix..dunno la..maybe only i feel this way..haha....maybe i abit siaox liaox..haha.
However, its still a fact tt the clock is an impt object in Man's life. Knowledge of time allows Man's activities to be carried out in an organised way, and they wun clash wif one another...FOr eg schools can function becos of the existence of timetables...and the only way to noe the time is through the clock.(dun come and crap me abt sundials)
But Man haf neglected the clocks becos they are so used to having them ard....they haf forgotten the importance of them in Man's lives.
After saying so much..i just want pple to know:

FIrst time in my life i played lan for so long....abt 5-6 hrs.....chalked up $8.50..haha
Played Generals and Battlefield...haha.....
First was Generals...Y* F***[sorry, not my policy to put names, but none of my business if u can guess who he is] vv bian tai....he one person try to fight 3 wif a huge force of overlord tanks....i was the lousliest..so died first..haha
Then played battlefield....i put ratio of US pple to Viet pple as 1:10..then we join US and add bots..in the end the enemy too powerful then cannot win...haha..
In the end played generals again..this time quite a serious game sia...but again i was the first to be attacked and almost lost....haix....no choice la...i not rich so cannot buy AMD64..haix....
Well..i gotta clarify some stuff since some of the things tt *** said were incorrect.
Firstly, i DID NOT enjoy doing tt p post...i hate it..hate it to the core...too bad its a public blog..otherwise i will haf thrown out vulgarities..
My seniors were blind to choose me. Y* F*** is better actually....he already held a grp post in sec2 liaox...and he is a decisive person...i am soft and indecisive...not suitable one lor...
Secondly, i DID NOT do a good job of running the club.....its on the verge of closing down le..haix....hope the new principal will do sumthing for computer club nxt yr...otherwise i no face to face my seniors.
Thirdly, *** is a tian cai. Back in Sec1, we were taught this programming language then we were supposed to create a calculator....none of us knew how to do except him. In the end all of us copied him haha....when we won the micromouse most of the stuff were done by him, then his sciences always so pro...bu shi tian cai shi she mo?
Haix...lately i was clearing up my table then i digged up quite alot of stuff leh...4got got wat liaox but some things include the PSLE entry proof and my kindergarten progress report...lolx...luckily i nvr throw it away...its meaningful stuff..haha..

Yesterday went to watch movie wif frens....then later went walk ard...later all go off liaox i continued to rot ard a little...ard tm cs and lib b4 going home..
Todae went to sch for briefing of jc admission and collecting some stuff....after tt went mac eat...Then went home to watch lotr....I miss the movie so wanna watch it again..haha...
Now i nth to do i go opp my hse borrow movies to watch...quite cheap leh...only 80cents for a movie....lotr got 3cds so $1...but still cheap haha....I tml must return the vcds liaox....tml borrow more....hope can get the other 2 lotr...

Hmm...many pple disagreed wif me...saying tt their best frens are from their classes...well i do haf vv gd frens in class too.....i enjoyed my time in 1B2B3J4J....I haf many good memories from class activities too...soccer, chalets....but then....they cant be compared to the fun i had in cca leh....i can get along wif everyone...but dun feel close wif class frens leh.......its a diff feeling when i eat roti prata wif my this 3 frens compared to eating wif my class pple....feel abit xtra ard my class pple..
My this 3 frens quite cute de la....the crap and jokes they say are first class ones....they are oso armed wif a large vocab to 'describe' pple...haha...then ideas oso alot and vv innovative...
They are oso pple who dun need study but still can score vv well one...haix....
Talking wif them is vv relaxing...no stress one...haha...if talk can talk for a vv long time...I find it difficult to sustain a conver wif my class frens for long though...not much common topic oso....so usually i'm quiet ard class pple..haha...

So i was saying, i enjoyed all these small little things so tts y evey fri i used to look forward to cca....always vv eager to go..haha..
Some of my best frens in ahs are oso from my cca.There are 3 of them.
[Its not my policy to put names in my blog entries...last time i did it and one fren refused to share anything wif me anymore while the other threaten to send trojan horse into my com]. Well all 4 of us shared the same interest in computing, which i tink is wat binds us together. Our interest in computing was haha abit overboard. Not satisfied wif wat we learnt in our grps in cca, we begin to learn other stuff.In sec1 when we heard tt there was a course teaching C, we signed up immediately, though it was at this place on the other side of singapore. For 2 weeks we gotta wake up early every morning andtravel an hr of mrt. It ends late in the afternoon and its another hr of mrt back. The worst thing is tt it turned out to be an electronics course, the C programming is only a small part of it.Haix..and the activities they organise were so disgusting tt we vowed nvr to go back there again.
In sec3, when we heard tt there was a course on visual basic, oso on the other side of singapore, we oso immediately signed up.Haha...so every wed for 8 weeks we gotta go off early on wed, travel on the way there, attend the lesson till 6.30 then go home. Reach home already 7 plus le..sumtimes thurs still got test, but we all still go la..This one was more fun...esp we had a good time teasing the ang moh..haha..
We oso begin to learn from each other. We taught each other turbo pascal, micromouse and director....then we oso went to learn robo-gp....We started going to competitions together oso....there was the national software competition, micromouse competition and robo-gp competitions...robo gp and micromouse were esp memorable...cos our sch dun haf the equipment so we gotta travel to other places.During competitions we will do the thingy almost everyday...at this odd place far away from singapore.....after sch gotta rush there, take mrt, take bus, then walk...would do all the way until 7++ pm..reach home almost 8 liaox...
The four of us stick together too much tt the stuff we talked abt went more then just computing..haha...shant say so much..
But i hate the post tt i took in sec3...i hate it...and i hate pple who like to remind me tt....haix...no choice la..my seniors were blind.
I'm still glad tt i joined [AC]²...if i didnt join i wouldnt haf known the 3 of them..my ahs life wouldnt haf been so memorable...I dun tink i would haf met such good frens if i had joined other ccas..other ccas are too large and everyone is so busy wif the cca stuff tt there's no time to interact..And nowadays pple join ccas just becos they are forced to and not for interest.Pple are joining clubs becos they dunwan to be in the sun, not becos of their interest.I feel sad for them, cos their cca life is so empty.Haix.
I dun see the enthusiam we had in them le. ASk them go for courses, go for competitions, all gif sian look... Seems like other ccas pple oso liddat....just a concert only always complain...true there are alot of training and practices thus can get vv tiring, but dun they enjoy wat they are doing?Haix..no commitment(=p)
So now i leave ahs le. I may forget everything tt happened in ahs, but i will nvr forget my cca. =D

I haf spent 4 whole yrs in Anglican High School. During the 4 yrs i haf learnt alot of things, made a lot of frens.4 yrs liaox, i'm going to leave Anglican High le..Well sch wasnt tt great..i dun haf much fond memories to take wif me either...but one thng tt i will rmb forever abt my days in anglican high is my cca.
My cca is generally known as Computer Club. It has a name, called the Advanced Computer Applications Club, [AC]² for short.Cool name right?i tot so too. But now pple seem to forget the brackets thus become AC², and the full name is transformed to a horrible one which i dunwan to mention.
Wat's so special abt my cca? Well, my best days were spent in my cca, my best frens were from my cca, and my best memories were from cca too.[Not all pls, just parts of them]
When i was in sec1, the first senior i knew was Jian Xin, the then vp of the club...he was the first to interact wif us sec1s then we all immediately liked him cos he vv funny and friendly. He once told me b4: nxt time u will realise tt ur best frens are actually not from ur class, but from ur cca. I didnt take it seriously tt time, but now i realise quite true sia.
Cca was slack at tt time already, not a surprise cos the sch preferred sports and musical ccas. I was posted to Multimedia grp, where we learn Director.Jian Xin was leader of the grp. With him ard cca was vv enjoyable, cos he can make u laugh until want to die.
At tt time [AC]² had a clubroom of its own..not as nice looking and spacious as music room where the choir pple use, but i still like it. I learnt my Director there, created my first game[Christmas Memory Game haha] there, learnt more abt computer hardware there oso. It was a nice place becos its quite isolated..no windows for pple to peep in and seldom pple will open door to look in...so u can laugh all u want inside..haha..
Second yr was even slacker laixo, but still ok. Every fri b4 they take attendance a few of us sec2s will gather ard and crap...nth special la, but i enjoyed the crapping..haha..Cos usually we are in diff grps doing our own stuff so dun get much chance to sit together and crap..and gossip..lolx..

Actually...after so many yrs of tests and exams....abit immune to it liaox...so dun feel particularly happy tt its the end...haha...quite normal sia...though one thing is tt i can now stay outside without worrying tt my mother will scold or tt a test is coming..
But yesterday i got headache when i got home..so slept early...
TOdae abt 12 plus i went out wif frens liaox..haha..first went to suntec..then went to bugis....go there walk walk look ard la...abt 8 plus then come back..haha...ok la...quite enjoyed it..Long time nvr walk le..
Now tt o's is over le i gotta do some stuff liaox.....going exercising...which i havent done so for a long long long time....then help my mother wif hsework...then pick up new skills..hope can learn abit of java and 3ds max lor....and oso go out walk more often..watch movies...haha....

Watching the news i find it heartwarming to see so many pple coming together to find the missing girl..
First is the singaporeans...they sacrificed their free time to come together to search for the missing girl.There's oso the 2 kind men who donated money to reward those who can gif credible leads.
Next is the malaysians...upon hearing the news they oso volunteered to help search..using their taxis, their buses etc..wif even plans to search for her nationwide.
Hmm..although many say the world todae are all filled wif selfish pple but from this we can see tt they are still kind pple ard..
Lets hope she can be found as soon as possible.

This whole week i have been going to sch...
Mon tues and wed were extra chi lessons for lousy pple like me..
THurs was olvl chem prac....i personally find it easier than prelims..but tritration still abit odd odd..lolx..The rest still ok ba..
THen todae was grad ceremony....speeches after speeches after speeches..then every1 of us went up to get cert...then cca leaders and those study pro one go up to get cert oso
Then there was this girl..she got top 2 for 6 subjects and 1st in standard..haix..
After tt got reception...food was ok la..
Then after tt went TPJC open hse..
Erm..quite a disappointment..they like open the door then let us look ourselves...not many of their students are involved in it..even the tchers were hardly spotted....then not many pple came for the open hse too..so make the whole place abit cold..

Hmm...one week nvr blog liaox....wasnt in the mood to blog..lolx..
But not much stuff happened during the week....except tt i went to TJ open hse yesterday and VJ open hse todae..
TJ open hse was fine....pple were friendly and i like the principal talk...vv engaging....i'm oso quite impressed wif their programmes...
But the VJ open was the one tt impresses me more..as we were walking towards the gate we could see all the banners put up by them...can see the effort cos vv nice leh..
Then at the gate their hse captains were screaming their heads off...nice la..cos show VJ is lively..Lolx..
Oh ya...cannot forget their goodie bags...they actually got quite a number of sponsers leh...and got some discount coupons inside..Lolx..

Todae a bacteria entered my blood, reproduced and released toxin..the toxin affected the hypothalamus in my brain, causing my body temperature to rise.
In short, i had a fever.
So now i'm waiting while the lympocytes release the correct antibody to clump the bacteria together so that the phagocytes can take in the clumped bacteria and digest them.

Anyway the stupid bacteria came at the wrong time...because of the fever i had to forgo a lan game session and a conference in the afternoon.Then dinner i couldnt eat curry..haix..
So i spent most of the day sleeping at home and playing the occasional game...Although i gotta do my tuition hw later..
Haix..i just received a brochure saying tt i am 16 and a half yrs old and is liable for NS...tt means nth la..but it still reminds me tt NS is coming...sheEsh..
Oh man...the taiwanese pro-intependance pple actually burnt our sg flag leh....haiyo...why must they do that?First is their Foreign Minister using extreme words to criticise us..now this...then oso got calls to boycott Sg and SIA...haix..they can discuss this peacefully mah..

Wah recently the Straits Times Forum has a hot topic going on...on whether children should be caned or not...some pple say should, some pple say shouldnt....but i tink abit of caning is okay la...
I oso grew up being caned...but i nvr got rebellous..lolx..
So now my cca stuff and prelims stuff all settled le..i haf an a1 for cca..and they push my eng up to a2...
I was saying this exams is the worst for me cos this is the first time i did badly for all 3 sciences...usually i haf at least one sci tt i did okay..haix..
So a l1r5 of 9 should be able to get me into tj...though i havent decide yet...i haf frens who are persuading me to go vj...But wif my sci liddat, if i go vj i will be slaughtered...
Nvm la..i wait for their open hses..
Oso driving me crazy is the subj combi..i will drop a sci when i go jc, cos i noe i cant handle 3 sci...but i dunno which to drop. Chem will stay for sure..so its between phy and bio. Bio is easier to study...but dropping phy will mean denying myself the entire range of engineering courses in Uni..If i take phy i scared i will struggle leh..
THen wat subj should i take to replace the sci tt i drop? Subjs shortlisted are Econs, Computing and F maths...but then i heard tt F maths and Computing will be dropped soon...issit true?
Wah lao so confusing so headache..

Then there was a grp of pple at the top storey of a multi storey carpark..they were playing wif sparklers and running ard...
This is perhaps the only time i felt tt it was mooncake festival...lolx..

Said i wanted to blog yesterday but in the end didnt cos was busy wif stuff..
Well i'm back..after 2 weeks of eating english and chi characters and words, numerals, pouring kerosene(obtained by fractional distillation) into my midnight-lamps and putting black colour round my eyes. THe result wasnt good either..i expect a 2-digit l1r5..haix..
Nvm...at most i 1st 3 mths dun go sch la...lolx..

The new fridge freezer compartment colder than the old one..but the lower compartment not as cold...i could freeze ice in the lower compartment of the old fridge leh...new one...not cold one..haha..

WHile i support Ronald, i oso quite like tt Boonsak..haha...quite good looking and vv calm on the court..

This week is a busy week for Singapore...Monday She celebrated her 39th birthday, then todae was her government's handover ceremony....the entire week so re nao...
As i had said this yr's national day vv happening....my guess is tt our economy is recovering so every1 in the mood of celebrating..haha...The parade rox!
But there was this poor flag bearer who made a mistake and everyone saw it..haha...nvm we noe it wasnt on purpose..hhahaa

This week is oso the handover ceremony of our government.. PM Goh stepped down and PM Lee took over him..just had the ceremony at the Istana...
Listening to his speech i guess we will be seeing big changes under his leadership...He is different from PM Goh....
Said tt we should diversify our views, be unconventional and different etc etc...i guess he wants to make singaporeans more independant?
ANyway after listening to his speech i am now rather excited abt the future..haha...

Singaporeans are getting arrogant these days..isnt it?
They think they are rich, their country is strong and stable,so they can do anything they like..they look down on pple poorer than them, pple who come from countries poorer than theirs...they scold them, they bully them.....
DON'T THEY EVEN HAF SIMPLE RESPECT FOR INDIVIDUALS?
They aren't just rich pple, they are highly civilised pple...so civilised they are teaching others how to be civilised..yet behind everyone's back they are doing wat only uncivilised pple are doing...
I can't imagine that they are doing this...its so....maddening..
Those pple are poor, they haf to support their family, so they haf no choice but to leave their hometown, go to an alien country, to work or pple they don't noe...its already tiring for them to do all the housework, waking up in the early morning, work till late at night...having to make sure the entire family is well taken care of.They haf to work despite all the homesickness, all the tiredness, all the loneliness...if we cant make their lives better, shouldnt we try NOT to make their lives more difficult?
Yet we haf pple who try to get the most out of them at the least cost possible..and when they are not satisfied wif them, they punish them in the most horrible ways possible..whereby after tt send them back home...leaving them just as poor as when they first came..
Sad to say, its not the commoners doing these, but the highly civilised ones who are doing these..the richest, the most educated..the most well-off...
In fact the commoners are the ones who are compassionate....
Perhaps...education is indeed a double-edged sword.

It's a poor thing seeing kids being deprived of play nowadays huh?Recess leh...such a good time to relax after spending half a day in a tiny little room together wif 40 others breathing in recycled air and doing brain-cell-killing-activities. Schools should not stop kids from playing purely on the basis tt they may injure themselves...Tt's total crap. I believed tt most parents will not hold the school responsible for injuries...besides kids should fall and injure themselves so tt they can 'eat bitter' nxt time...
I still remember my pri sch days when we played like mad during recesses and after school while waiting for the school bus..Tt was so FUN lor!WE played regardless of the weather..whether it hot like mad or cool after the rain(of course we were not stupid to play in a thunderstorm)We played until we forgot all about lessons and schoolwork and the mean-looking tchers...
When recess starts someone will run to the field to 'chop' court...usually vincent or zhi heng haha...or someone go toilet just b4 recess starts then run to the field..We need to chop becos only got 2 courts quite a number of teams..haha...
We use a tennis ball to play soccer...many of us each had one so tt in case one nvr bring, still can play..haha...but in extreme cases where we haf no ball, we simply used deflated bottles..
After sch on weds we usually haf to wait a long time for the bus...me and zhixiang then run to the field play the monkey bars or run around..can see many pple play the zero point or five stones..
In P5 we got to come to sch early for HCL lessons...then b4 lessons started we will play..haha..
IN P6 the tcher(Mrs Janet Lee!haha) came down to the field and forbid us to play...but i tink in the end we still played right?haha...
And oh ya...after the afternoon lessons me zhi xiang and kai wei haf to wait for bus at the bus stop near the rubbish collection point beside the temple there...then we climbed up and down the railings, take sticks throw here throw there and ran around..haha..and all those crap...
PLaying really relaxes a kid after a day of stress at school...kids able to strike a balance between the two are the ones able to work most effectively...so schools should let kids play!

Hmm..back from eng compre test...(arent supposed to be here haha)
Haiz....i'm officially dropping my wish for a new com..its too unrealistic le..haiz..
I haf a more realisitic wish..tt is a Creative Muvo² 4GB...creative's having a sale now and its going at $398 plus a fm radio thrown in...tt's less than a dol per MB...my mother say i can buy..but i'm not too sure....

Todae was the 2.4km run for the sec1 to sec3s..mr wang said we sec4s did well in dunno wat thing so gave us the day off...(but all the tchers were at east coast too,so  even if we sec4s haf to come to sch there's no one to teach us haha) he said he dunwan to see us at shopping centres...but..haha..
Poor juniors....they will be running at east coast for three yrs and be surprised tt they get such good results..
When they come sec4 they will realise all were just illusions....=p
Well, i did exactly wat mr wang doesnt us to do...go shopping centre..haha..
Actually it was my class outing....went to this seoul garden at ngee ann city...
This is the first time i spent so much money on a meal...$12..
This is the first time i went to a restaurant...i had no idea b4hand we had to make the food ourselves...haha..
So in order to make tt $12 well spent, we ate alot....ALOT...
We just kept collecting food...plates and plates of food...I ate until so full tt i almost couldnt walk...went to the toilet twice with full bladders within half an hour..haha...it was visible tt my stomach had expanded..haha...But i tink still reasonable la...unlike some restaurants their food so ex and only a few mouthfuls...
Oh ya...4L went seoul garden to eat as well...
After tt went cineleisure to play arcade...i didnt play though...no money after spending on food...then went HMV at heeren..then went raffles city walk walk....then go home...But then the original grp of 24 pple came down to only 6 of us..haha..
When i left for home still got 3 more continued walking...if not for my mother i will haf followed...haha...
Along the way we met a few ahs pple...after running 2.4km they came to orchard to walk...pro sia..

In case u didnt noe, the new blogger editor couldnt work with my previous version of IE, and i didnt want to dl the latest one becos it was a huge 16.2 mb file and i'm using 56k...
Until i realised i can dl it bit by bit...
So Operation IE Download started immediately and after countless hours spread through a week,its  mission accomplished...
Tt's the bad point of technology..its too fast for us to catch up...
Anyway for the past few weeks its nth but tests after tests after tests...Take a look:
Every week: Emaths, Bio, and a common test of a diff subj every thurs, and soon, chem..
Every alternate week: Amaths, Chi..
Plus occasional tests tt springs up eg: Eng this sat..
So every week its an average of 5 tests out to squeeze us dry....
Not forgetting all the hw...
But no choice la...prelims in less than 50 days, o's in less than 100 days...

So busy these days...no time to blog...todae end of week then finally got time to...
Last few days of the hols was spent on completing my hols hw..haha....
Oso watched the euro quarter finals on sweden vs holland and france vs greece..had mixed feelings....cos france lost and holland won..haha...
(Tt didnt end long. Holland lost in the semis.Haix.)
First day of sch already not vv smooth liaoz..after e sch blocked up the side entrance of the sec3/4 block there left only one entrance to the hall...the linkway. Thus a HUGE jam at the stairway...
Tt wasnt the end....the PA system broke down and we sang the national anthem and sch song without the music...
Not a good omen for the first day of term.....
Tues after came back to sch i went to sleep becos had a terrible headache...in the evening went to watch choir concert...
It was nice...i dunno anything abt music...but still nice la...they sang really well...
Thurs mr wang met up wif us sec4s to crap on wat else but o's...he set us a target of 11.5 for our o's...Continuously gave us stress and pressure becos he kept repeating 'U all are the best! U all are the best!' He's mad...
There was my first test of the term..bio test on cells and enzymes...expect to fail it cos i didnt study....flunked almost all my essay questions...haiz..
Todae cca lor...gotta prepare for cheering on sports day...the sec4s sort of stepped down liaoz so todae only a few of us sec4s went....the sec3s were in charge todae and they did quite ok la...
This term on there's at least 3 tests every week and at least 4 tests every alternate week...wah..can die ah...
Plus the chem tutorial tt's coming up...lam say all those wif b3 and below must go...which includes me! Haiz...still not confirmed...hope i no need to go la..
Wah..tues night nationwide blackout leh...so unexpected...but the radio djs say until like its so fun....i didnt get any blackout but now i'm hoping for one haha...

Hmm...the construction workers started putting tiles onto the carpk liaoz...looks nice..but i still tink its unnecessary...still havent reach under my block here..but by the time it reaches i will be in sch for most of the day, so no need suffer under the TA-TA-TA-TA le...
Talking abt sch..sch's starting soon...having mixed feelings...quite happy becos i haf work to do(haha), not happy becos of the work load tt will be coming up..aiyah..oso no choice la, i'm born in singapore...

Aiyo..todae news got a report abt 3 taiwanese being ill treated by singapore police..they say they were fed wif toilet bowl water(i suppose its tap water..toilet bowl water??!!??) The singapore police said tt their tap water is the same as oridinary tap water in our hseholds and thus can be drunk. Its obvious they cant come up gif good reason...they want to noe WHY they are given tap water, not whether their tap water is clean or not?!!? We noe its clean, but the thing is y arent the 3 women given normal water?? Haiz......

The movie was nice!! Dunno y some pple say not nice leh...hmm maybe diff pple haf diff taste..i personally liked the movie...esp the first part where mark lee ask y the president not smiling on our notes..hahahaha...then the movie went on to put his face on our notes and showed him smiling..hahaha...so interesting...
There was oso the scene where traffic policeman was dressed up as the God of Fortune..hahaha...
There are alot of other funny stuff...too many to say here..but its really a good movie...
But the last part showing liu qian yi waking up from his daydream of the kidnap makes it an anti-climax..
And the movie is abit too short..haha...
Still i enjoyed the movie..i like movies tt haf local flavours...
My mother went to buy 4D after the movie..not any numbers from the movie but from a taxi she saw on our way to the cinema..haha...

Todae was one of the best days i had in my...life?haha...
Y? Cos i played soccer wif me PRI SCH frens...haha...quite rare nowadays..u seldom find pple who still come together to do a common interest after not seeing each other for..4 yrs?haha..
This have been our tradition since sec1...every holiday we will meet up to play soccer..haha...
Therefore todae was a memorable day for me...and oso an unforgettable 1...
Firstly i went to the wrong place..haha..i was told the place to meet is the 'new' yuneng..i went to the one where i spent 6 yrs in..cos of the new buildings there...
The correct place was the one nxt to fengshan..cos tt was the place yuneng went to after the old building was torn down...thus the 'new' yuneng...so i walked extra lor..haha..
But i wasnt too late..the person wif the ball was even later..haha....
Secondly we played soccer from 11 to 1..yup..during the hottest time of the day..haha..we were asking each other y at this time..haha...but in the end we still heck and just played lor...
My right leg was still aching..but was ok enuff for me to run and shoot...haha...
Quite some time nvr see them le..but all still in good shape..still can deliver shots tt cause pain..haha..and all still big-time jokers tt can make pple laugh like hell..haha...
Aside from soccer we oso chatted alot..basically all the funny stuff we do in sec sch now..haha...
After soccer we went to eat lunch...after tt no choice but to split up...a couple of us got tuition..then the rest went to watch movie...
Actually meeting them gave me abit of pressure..cos they all from RI os DHS one..all so powderful pple..haha....
Anyway the hot sun did had adverse effects on me..i came down wif a terrible headache tt threatened to split my head open..haha..nvrtheless i survived through tuition..ate a powerful small little pill tt took my headache away within an hour(tt y now can type out this blog)..haha...
But i'm tired..so going sleep soon...tml still gotta go temple becos last week nvr go....

Overall the movie is good, but still not really up to my expectations..haha...it seems to be too short and has alot of sub-plots missing...so its like not vv complete..haha...
Oso missing is the 'grand-ness' of the movie...not vv zhuang guan...hogwarts doesnt seem tt grand anymore...maybe becos it doesnt focus too much on hogwarts itself anymore..haha...
Maybe i haf set my standards higher after watching lord of the rings..haha...becos of all the wars and fighting we see in many of the scenes..haha...
Or maybe bocos i haf read harry potter bk liaoz tt y i find the movie not vv complete...i didnt read lotr bks..haha...

Haiyo..now my neighbourhood undergoing carpark upgrading, everyday sooooo noisy lor..the TA-TA-TA sounds is enuff to kill people...buay ta han ah...the tv and radio must on vv loud then can hear..so zhun lor..holiday come le then do all these..should haf done these while i'm still in sch..haiz..
THen todae got tt venus pass through the sun..i wanted to see but wah..the sun too bright liaoz..oso buay ta han...
So noe more liaoz...the next time it comes i will be in heaven(or hell) le..haha..

Why? Cos i went to the pc show the second time todae..hahaha..
Didnt go to guan yin temple..cos my mother wasnt feeling too well...so stayed at home lor..in the afternoon my brother changed his mind and dunwan go pc show anymore, so i went myself lor..haha..sound so pathetic..
Anyway todae is the last day of the pc show, so many pple came to see...so packed tt i had difficulty walking, bumped into many pple..haha...
THey oso brought down the prices of many items to try to clear their stocks...so many things became cheaper..haha..
Met a classmate there..the only familar person i met there...
I realised tt those salespple dun entertain teenagers(me la)..i guess they think teenagers wun buy anything..haha...
Most of them ignored me when i walked past, i had to ask them for brochures b4 they ask 'can i help u?'
Only a few asked 'Looking for a laptop?'..haha...
Of course i really didnt buy anything la..no money..and it seems like its the wrong time to buy haha...
But i took alot of brochures home...maybe can serve as a guide when i need to buy anything..hahaha...
Wasnt planning to come online tonite, but someone ask me for help, so no choice lor..haha...

Hmm...todae didnt really do much..except for the tuition..
Todae ate durian..hahaha...now durian supply too high, so selling at vv cheap price..abt $1 for one..haha..so mother bought some for use to eat..abt 1 yr plus nvr eat le...

Then replayed some missions in red alert 2...no choice..no games le..haha...
Tml going out...first to guan yin temple..then maybe going to pc show wif my bro...still dunno i if should buy those $10 games and the mp3 player not..haiz..
Wow..todae morning rain heavily..i briefly woke up and saw the rain...tot just normal rain..turned out it was one tt felled so many trees...haha..

TOdae went to sch to do ss....spent abt one hour in sch wif yu hui to discuss..we didnt exactly complete the thing..but at least we haf a direction now..haha..
After tt we went to expo for the pc show...although its supposed to be office hours then but still vv crowded....B4 we even reach the hall we had a whole chunk of brochures in our hands le..
The stuff on display abt the same as the previous shows...still the big brands like canon hp microsoft taking up the most space...
This time round i took particular notice at mp3 players and printers...so spent more time on them..really liked creative's mp3 players, but i cant seem to find one tt suits me..
I need one tt has a dc adapter and uses those round round batts...but creative only have mp3 players tt have either of them..hmm...if i am sitting on my table listening naturally i will want to use the dc adapter right?But those wif dc adaptors come wif rechargable batts..if they spoil liao how am i going to replace them?
Otherwise they are perfect...esp wif creative's reputation in audio...and i oso need one of these to transfer my data among computers..diskettes are too small and cds are troublesome...
Oso saw cheap games there going at $9.95 each...want to buy but dunno if its the right time to do so....
I rally need a new printer...but dun think i will get it..haha.....
This pc show stresses alot on laptops and digital cameras..many companies are advertising their cams and laptops..
They r now oso starting to attract students...toshiba's selling a laptop at 'educational price'..abt $600 less and comes packed wif features..
My mother say if i want to buy mp3 player i can go ahead...but i'm not too sure abt it..haha...
After tt go home...then didnt really do anything until now..

Todae is the end of term 2..haha...following it will be a one month holiday..hmm..seems like many pple haf cca during holidays huh? I am rather relaxed =pPp
Todae as usual go sch lor..the flag raising at the hall turned out to be an assembly..mrs goh broke the record for the longest devotion..haha..repeatedly sang the same song becos it wasnt loud enuff...haiz..
Then followed by a speech from a teacher who is retiring...i wasnt taught by him b4 but from his farewell speech i can see tt he's a gd techer..a pity i nvr get to be taught by him...
In the end still got presidential elections for our student council...many of us just anyhow picked one..we dunno any of them at all and all 3 doesnt instil any confidence in us..haiz...
Then go back class get result slip...surprisingly did quite ok..haha..but tt was becos they took only 6 best subjects...
Before sch ends there was a prize giving ceremony..
Then sch was officially over..went wif my frens to eat then went to watch The Day After Tomorrow..
This movie rox man..its really a nice movie, but to a certain extent, scary.
The rise in global warming caused huge changes in the climate..it actually caused worldwide temperatures to drop...many countries experienced floods, tornados, hurricanes etc...got ice drop down from the sky and hit pple's heads..then huge floods covered the US and then became ice..
It was so cold tt helicopters crashed while flying becos the fuel froze..then when a man open the door to get out of the chopper he immediately froze...
Hmm...i just checked out their official website and realised tt all these are sort of true....it may happen...maybe i should start protecting the Earth...
It may happen in our lifetime...the movie main character predicted tt it will come in a hundred or thousand yrs, but it came the nxt day...
BUt this movie oso tells use to cherish watever we haf now...hmm..including her.
This movie oso tells us, if this thing really happens within our lifetime, we should hide in a library...haha....
